The National Hydro Network (NHN) focuses on providing a quality geometric description and a set of basic attributes describing Canada"s inland surface waters. It provides geospatial digital data compliant with the NHN Standard such as lakes, reservoirs, watercourses (rivers and streams), canals, islands, drainage linear network, toponyms or geographical names, constructions and obstacles related to surface waters, etc. The best available federal and provincial data are used for its production, which is done jointly by the federal and interested provincial and territorial partners. The NHN is created from existing data at the 1:50 000 scale or better. In particular, the modeling work of the NHN was based in part on Linear Reference System (LRS) concepts. This approach allows the management of geometric representation separately from attribute information (referred to as event in LRS). Unique Identifiers are associated with each geometric and event object. These IDs (called National Identifiers - NIDs) will lead to more efficient management of updates between data producers and data users. The NHN data have a great potential for analysis, cartographic representation and display and will serve as base data in many applications. Deep Learning Objects and Training The resulting mosaic was then prepared for reclassification using the Label Objects for Deep Learning tool in ArcGIS Pro. Flood extent polygons representing active floods (last three days) throughout Canada as monitored by Natural Resources Canada using satellite imagery for emergency response. In response to large flood events, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), for the provision of emergency geomatics services, may be activated by Canada’s emergency management protocols. As new satellite imagery becomes available, NRCan will extract flood extent polygons and update the dataset in near real time (4 hours). This item contains the latest flood products generated in the past three days. For any data older than 72 hours, please refer to the Floods in Canada - Current Year entry. For this reason note that the web mapping service may not display data if flood polygons have not been published by the EGS in the past three days.The flood products generated are validated on a best effort basis. Various factors may affect the quality of the flood polygons. These factors include, but are not limited to, sensor type, image resolution, cloud cover or limitations of the flood polygon extraction method. In this layer, where possible, a symbology is applied to the flood polygons based on the underlying land use classification, or is simply unclassified and shows the raw flood extent. When using Web mapping services, to display a specific product, filter by date (UTC Date) and area of interest (AOI). Also, a link to download each product directly from the FTP site is available in the Resources section. This prepackaged and compressed product contains a Shape file, a PDF file and a KMZ file.Disclaimer: Emergency response authorities are the primary users of these satellite-derived open water flood extent map products. These products are generated to provide analysis and emergency response situational awareness and to facilitate decision-making during major flood events. The open water flood extent products are generated rapidly and limited time is available for editing and validation. The Vegetation Map of Cañada de San Vicente (CSV), San Diego County, was created by the California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) Vegetation and Mapping Program (VegCAMP). CSV, formerly known as Monte Vista Ranch, was acquired in April 2009 by DFG and is currently not open to the public as the management plan is not complete. The map study area boundary is based on the DFG Lands layer that was published in April, 2011 and includes 4888 acres of land. This includes 115 acres of private land located in the northeast corner of the map that was considered an area of interest (AOI) before purchase by DFG. The map is based on field data from 38 vegetation Rapid Assessment surveys (RAs), 111 reconnaissance points, and 118 verification points that were conducted between April 2009 and January 2012. The rapid assessment surveys were collected as part of a comprehensive effort to create the Vegetation Classification Manual for Western San Diego County (Sproul et al., 2011). A total of 1265 RAs and 18 relevés were conducted for this larger project, all of which were analyzed together using cluster analysis to develop the final vegetation classification. The CSV area was delineated by vegetation type and each polygon contains attributes for hardwood tree, shrub and herb cover, roadedness, development, clearing, and heterogeneity. Of 545 woodland and shrubland polygons that were delineated, 516 were mapped to the association level and 29 to the alliance level (due to uncertainty in the association). Of 46 herbaceous polygons that were delineated, 36 were mapped to the group or macrogroup level and 8 were mapped to association. Four polygons were mapped as urban or agriculture. The classification and map follow the National Vegetation Classification Standard (NVCS) and Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) standard and State of California Vegetation and Mapping Standards. The minimum mapping area unit (MMU) is one acre, though occasionally, vegetation is mapped below MMU for special types including wetland, riparian, and native herbaceous and when it was possible to delineate smaller stands with a high degree of certainty (e.g., with available field data). In total, about 45 percent of the polygons were supported by field data points and 55 percent were based on photointerpretation.

It contains the information gathered during the 2021Census with respect to the population within the Dissemination Area and the breakdown of the commuting labour force by: work status; destination; mode of commuting; commuting duration and time leaving for work. Add up-to-date Canadian weather conditions to your map! This service contains a layer of weather stations across Canada with current (up to the hour) weather conditions. The popups display weather icons which link you to Environment Canada's forecast website.
