    Description

The USDA Long-Term Agroecosystem Research was established to develop national strategies for sustainable intensification of agricultural production. As part of the Agricultural Research Service, the LTAR Network incorporates numerous geographies consisting of experimental areas and locations where data are being gathered. Starting in early 2019, two working groups of the LTAR Network (Remote Sensing and GIS, and Data Management) set a major goal to jointly develop a geodatabase of LTAR Standard GIS Data Layers. The purpose of the geodatabase was to enhance the Network's ability to utilize coordinated, harmonized datasets and reduce redundancy and potential errors associated with multiple copies of similar datasets. Project organizers met at least twice with each of the 18 LTAR sites from September 2019 through December 2020, compiling and editing a set of detailed geospatial data layers comprising a geodatabase, describing essential data collection areas within the LTAR Network. The LTAR Standard GIS Data Layers geodatabase consists of geospatial data that represent locations and areas associated with the LTAR Network as of late 2020, including LTAR site locations, addresses, experimental plots, fields and watersheds, eddy flux towers, and phenocams. There are six data layers in the geodatabase available to the public. This geodatabase was created in 2019-2020 by the LTAR network as a national collaborative effort among working groups and LTAR sites. The creation of the geodatabase began with initial requests to LTAR site leads and data managers for geospatial data, followed by meetings with each LTAR site to review the initial draft. Edits were documented, and the final draft was again reviewed and certified by LTAR site leads or their delegates. Revisions to this geodatabase will occur biennially, with the next revision scheduled to be published in 2023. NHESP updates the data as needed, and the data served here is refreshed nightly by MassGIS.This service contains points for all vernal pools that have been certified by the Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program (NHESP) according to the Guidelines for the Certification of Vernal Pool Habitat (PDF) (MA Division of Fisheries & Wildlife, 2009).

Vernal pools are small, shallow ponds characterized by lack of fish and by periods of dryness. Vernal pool habitat is extremely important to a variety of wildlife species including some amphibians that breed exclusively in vernal pools, and other organisms such as fairy shrimp, which spend their entire life cycles confined to vernal pool habitat. Many additional wildlife species utilize vernal pools for breeding, feeding and other important functions. Certified vernal pools are protected if they fall under the jurisdiction of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act Regulations (310 CMR 10.00). However, the certification of a pool only establishes that it functions biologically as a vernal pool. Certification does not determine that the pool is within a resource area protected by the Wetlands Protection Act. Certified vernal pools are also afforded protection under the state Water Quality Certification regulations (401 Program), the state Title 5 regulations, and the Forest Cutting Practices Act regulations. Please see layer metadata for more details.Feature service also available.

    Description

This dataset combines information from four sustainable building programs to show the extent and location of sustainable buildings in Cambridge.

For inclusion in this data set, a building must meet at least one of the following criteria: - Received LEED certification under a LEED system that required the whole building to meet sustainability standards; - Received certification from the Passive House program; - Received certification from Enterprise Green Communities; or - Received Energy Star certification with the most recent certification in 2014 or after.

Some buildings meet two or more of these criteria. Information provided about the applicable sustainable building programs for qualifying buildings includes certification levels, certification types, ratings, or scores where available.

In this dataset, we use Cambridge GIS Building IDs as unique identifiers for certified sustainable buildings. Buildings IDs refer to one physical structure, even if there are multiple street addresses associated with that structure.

    Description

Note: This web page provides data on health facilities only. To file a complaint against a facility, please see: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CHCQ/LCP/Pages/FileAComplaint.aspx

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Center for Health Care Quality, Licensing and Certification (L&C) Program licenses and certifies more than 30 types of healthcare facilities. The Electronic Licensing Management System (ELMS) is a CDPH data system created to manage state licensing-related data and enforcement actions. This file includes California healthcare facilities that are operational and have a current license issued by the CDPH and/or a current U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) certification.

To link the CDPH facility IDs with those from other Departments, like HCAI, please reference the "Licensed Facility Cross-Walk" Open Data table at https://data.chhs.ca.gov/dataset/licensed-facility-crosswalk. Facility geographic variables are updated monthly, if latitude/longitude information is missing at any point in time, it should be available when the next time the Open Data facility file is refreshed.

Please note that the file contains the data from ELMS as of the 11th business day of the month. See DATA_DATE variable for the specific date of when the data was extracted. To access the CDPH Facilities map, follow this link: https://go.cdii.ca.gov/cdph-facilities
