Abstract: The Marine Turtle Conservation Project is a project of the Marine Turtle Research Group and has been monitoring the nesting beaches of Northern Cyprus since 1992. The project is in collaboration with the Society for the Protection of Turtles in Northern Cyprus (SPoT) and the Department of Environmental Protection. In Northern Cyprus both green and loggerhead turtles nest. Green turtles in the Mediterranean are listed as critically endangered by the IUCN, with estimates suggesting that there are as few as 300-400 females nesting annually in this region. Loggerhead turtles nest in slightly greater numbers, with approximately 2000-3000 females nesting annually. Approximately 30 % of the green and 10% of the loggerhead turtles in the Mediterranean nest in Northern Cyprus.

High-latitude ecosystems play an important role in the global carbon cycle and in regulating the climate system and are presently undergoing rapid environmental change. Accurate land cover data sets are required to both document these changes as well as to provide land-surface information for benchmarking and initializing Earth system models. Earth system models also require specific land cover classification systems based on plant functional types (PFTs), rather than species or ecosystems, and so post-processing of existing land cover data is often required. This study compares over Siberia, multiple land cover data sets against one another and with auxiliary data to identify key uncertainties that contribute to variability in PFT classifications that would introduce errors in Earth system modeling. Land cover classification systems from GLC 2000, GlobCover 2005 and 2009, and MODIS collections 5 and 5.1 are first aggregated to a common legend, and then compared to high-resolution land cover classification systems, vegetation continuous fields (MODIS VCFs) and satellite-derived tree heights (to discriminate against sparse, shrub, and forest vegetation). The GlobCover data set, with a lower threshold for tree cover and taller tree heights and a better spatial resolution, tends to have better distributions of tree cover compared to high-resolution data. It has therefore been chosen to build new PFT maps for the ORCHIDEE land surface model at 1 km scale. Compared to the original PFT data set, the new PFT maps based on GlobCover 2005 and an updated cross-walking approach mainly differ in the characterization of forests and degree of tree cover. The partition of grasslands and bare soils now appears more realistic compared with ground truth data. This new vegetation map provides a framework for further development of new PFTs in the ORCHIDEE model like shrubs, lichens and mosses, to represent the water and carbon cycles in northern latitudes better. Updated land cover data sets are critical for improving and maintaining the relevance of Earth system models for assessing climate and human impacts on biogeochemistry and biophysics.

Abstract (en): The Treatment Episode Data Set -- Admissions (TEDS-A) is a national census data system of annual admissions to substance abuse treatment facilities. TEDS-A provides annual data on the number and characteristics of persons admitted to public and private substance abuse treatment programs that receive public funding. The unit of analysis is a treatment admission. TEDS consists of data reported to state substance abuse agencies by the treatment programs, which in turn report it to SAMHSA. A sister data system, called the Treatment Episode Data Set -- Discharges (TEDS-D), collects data on discharges from substance abuse treatment facilities. The first year of TEDS-A data is 1992, while the first year of TEDS-D is 2006. TEDS variables that are required to be reported are called the "Minimum Data Set (MDS)", while those that are optional are called the "Supplemental Data Set (SuDS)". Variables in the MDS include: information on service setting, number of prior treatments, primary source of referral, gender, race, ethnicity, education, employment status, substance(s) abused, route of administration, frequency of use, age at first use, and whether methadone was prescribed in treatment. Supplemental variables include: diagnosis codes, presence of psychiatric problems, living arrangements, source of income, health insurance, expected source of payment, pregnancy and veteran status, marital status, detailed not in labor force codes, detailed criminal justice referral codes, days waiting to enter treatment, and the number of arrests in the 30 days prior to admissions (starting in 2008). Substances abused include alcohol, cocaine and crack, marijuana and hashish, heroin, nonprescription methadone, other opiates and synthetics, PCP, other hallucinogens, methamphetamine, other amphetamines, other stimulants, benzodiazepines, other non-benzodiazepine tranquilizers, barbiturates, other non-barbiturate sedatives or hypnotics, inhalants, over-the-counter medications, and other substances. Created variables include total number of substances reported, intravenous drug use (IDU), and flags for any mention of specific substances. ICPSR data undergo a confidentiality review and are altered when necessary to limit the risk of disclosure. ICPSR also routinely creates ready-to-go data files along with setups in the major statistical software formats as well as standard codebooks to accompany the data. In addition to these procedures, ICPSR performed the following processing steps for this data collection: Performed consistency checks.; Created variable labels and/or value labels.; Standardized missing values.; Created online analysis version with question text.; Performed recodes and/or calculated derived variables.; Checked for undocumented or out-of-range codes.. State laws require certain substance abuse treatment programs to report all of their admissions and discharges to the State. In all States, treatment programs receiving any public funds are required to provide the data on both publicly and privately funded clients. In some States, programs that do not receive public funds are required to provide data as well. On the other hand, there are some instances in which information is provided only for clients whose treatment is funded through public monies. TEDS collects this data from the States on all admissions and discharges aged 12 or older. TEDS-A presents only the admission data. This is the 24th study in a series of annual surveys on road safety conducted since 1981. The study is conducted by Statistics Sweden on behalf of the Swedish National Road Administration, which had the overall responsibility for road safety in Sweden in 2005. Today the study is conducted on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration.
The study aims to identify and analyse traffic safety statistics. This is done by a written questionnaire directed to a stratified sample of the population. The study from 2005 had a 67,5 percent response rate and a sample of 6 892 randomly selected people aged between 15 and 84 years.
The questions in the study include, for example, traffic behaviour and traffic patterns; attitudes to road safety and traffic rules, the relation between alcohol and traffic and child safety in traffic. Both motor traffic, bicycle and foot traffic is concerned. A total of 23 questions are used, including descriptive questions, estimation questions and attitude questions.
Purpose:
The survey aims to identify and analyse traffic safety statistics.

Find below (part “Resources”) in txt format a set of data from the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS). This file contains the data of the 14 000 installations entered in the European public record of the CO2 quota contract.
Information is available for 31 countries, 30 sectors, for the years 2005-2016. The content lists information such as the name and country of the industrial installation, the name of the account holder, the parent company, the verified emissions for each year as well as the free allocation of allowances for each year, or the postal address.
To recover the data, simply click on the file to download it.
Compared to the 2005-2015 data file, 2016 data has been added.
Also, a bug has been fixed. Indeed, for phase 3 of the system (2013-2020), boxes in the European public register sometimes deliver three different figures with asterisks, for example differentiating free allowances for installations covered by Article 10c of the Directive (mainly Eastern European Electricians). These figures were not covered in the 2005-2015 version. Now the sum of these figures is available: the total allocation is delivered in columns Total_Allowance_Allocation_20XX per year.
Finally, in order to maintain the granularity of the information, for those installations where several figures were specified concerning allocations (in respect of a new entrant, or under Article 10c of the Directive), these figures are also delivered in columns Allowance_Allocation_20XX, and separated by slashes.
This dataset is derived from a scraper that runs through the “Allocations to stationary installations” part of the EU transactions log. We realised with a few European journalists that several installations were missing, which were included in the “Operator Holding Accounts” part of the EUTL.
Fortunately, the world is filled with generous talents. Nathann Cohen, a computer scientist, took some of his spare time to scrap the 236 missing installations. The result is here (“All Operator Holding accounts”): https://www.steinertriples.fr/ncohen/data/EU_CO2_LOG/ ... 15,505 installations. \o/
What you'll find in this dataset
You will find below (“Ressources”) a dataset in a txt format from ETS system, the European CO2 market, collected on EUTL. The information about 14,000 installations is available for 31 countries, 30 sectors, for the years 2005-2016.
The content lists information like the installation name and country, the account holder’s name, the verified emissions for each year and the free allocations for each year, the parent company, the address.
To dowload the data, just click on the file.
Also, a bug has been fixed. From 2013 on, EUTL diferentiates 3 categories of allowances: classic allowances, allowances given under article 10c of the ETS directive (followed by 4 stars), and allowances given as New entrant’s reserve (NER) (followed by 5 stars). Those annyoing stars messed up the data ^^. In Allowance_Allocation_20XX column, I just separated the 3 figures by a slash, in case you need that granularity. But if you just need the total allowances, Total_Allowance_Allocation_20XX is the column you are looking for.
The dataset comes from a scraper that parses the “Allocations to stationary installations” part of the EU transactions log. We realised with a few European journalists that some plants were missing, that were included in the “Operator Holding Accounts” part of the EUTL.
Lucilky, the world is full of helping hands. Nathann Cohen, a skilled computer scientist, took some of his spare time to give a hand scraping the 236 missing plants. The result is here (“All Operator Holding accounts”): https://www.steinertriples.fr/ncohen/data/EU_CO2_LOG/.

GH: Income Share Held by Lowest 10% data was reported at 2.000 % in 2012. This records an increase from the previous number of 1.900 % for 2005. GH: Income Share Held by Lowest 10% data is updated yearly, averaging 2.400 % from Dec 1987 (Median) to 2012, with 6 observations. The data reached an all-time high of 2.900 % in 1988 and a record low of 1.900 % in 2005. GH: Income Share Held by Lowest 10% data remains active status in CEIC and is reported by World Bank. The data is categorized under Global Database’s Ghana – Table GH.World Bank.WDI: Poverty. Percentage share of income or consumption is the share that accrues to subgroups of population indicated by deciles or quintiles.; ; World Bank, Development Research Group. Data are based on primary household survey data obtained from government statistical agencies and World Bank country departments. Data for high-income economies are from the Luxembourg Income Study database. For more information and methodology, please see PovcalNet (http://iresearch.worldbank.org/PovcalNet/index.htm).; ; The World Bank’s internationally comparable poverty monitoring database now draws on income or detailed consumption data from more than one thousand six hundred household surveys across 164 countries in six regions and 25 other high income countries (industrialized economies). While income distribution data are published for all countries with data available, poverty data are published for low- and middle-income countries and countries eligible to receive loans from the World Bank (such as Chile) and recently graduated countries (such as Estonia) only. The harmonised consumer price index (HICP), calculated by Statistics Netherlands, measures the average price changes of goods and services purchased by households. As the harmonised consumer price index is compiled in a similar way in all member states, it makes it possible to compare price developments within the EU properly. This table also shows the index in which the taxes are constant (HICP -CT, Constant Taxes).
Data available from: January 2002 till december 2015
Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final.
Changes as of 16 June 2016 None, this table is stopped.
Changes as of 18 December 2015 The figures of the groups 061100 ‘Pharmaceutical products’, 061200 ‘Other medical products, equipment’, 072200 ‘Fuels and lubricants’ and 083000 ‘Telephone and internet services’ over the months June through September 2015 have been corrected. This has no impact on the headline indices.
Changes as of 10 December 2015 On 1 October 2015, the points system for the pricing of rental homes was adjusted by the Dutch national government. As a direct consequence, rental prices of a limited number of dwellings were reduced, which had a downward effect on the average rental price. The effect of this decrease on the rental price indices and imputed rent value could not be determined in time because housing associations announced the impact of rent adjustments only in November. For this reason, the figure of the group 04100 ‘Actual rentals for housing’ over October 2015 has now been adjusted.
When will new figures be published? Not applicable. This table is succeeded by Consumer prices; European harmonised price index 2015 = 100. See paragraph 3.
