The layer was made by joining the U.S. Census Bureau 118th Congressional District Block Equivalency Files to the 2020 U.S. Census Blocks National Geodatabase, and then editing using TIGER/Line Hydrography and NOAA National Shoreline to add a detailed coastline for cartographic purposes. TIGER/Line 2024 was used to update the five states (Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, and New York) with redistricted boundaries for the 119th Congress.
