The New York State calculation method was first adopted for the Cohort of 2001 (Class 2005). The cohort consists of al students who first entered 9th grade in a given school year (e.g., the cohort of 2006 entered 9th grade in 2006-2007 school year). Graduates are defined as those students earning either a local or regents diploma and exclude those earning either a special education (IEP) diploma for GED. In order to comply with FERPA regulations on public reporting of education outcomes, rows with a cohort of 20 or fewer students are suppressed. Due to small number of students identified as Native American or Multi-Racial these ethnicities are not reported on the Ethnicity tab, however these students are included in the counts on all other tabs.

Abstract

Data on the cost of a passport in the country of issue was collected by the World Bank in October 2005. The principal form of collection was through faxes, emails and telephone calls to the consular offices of each country having an embassy or consulate office in the United States. Other sources of information included websites of passport authorities, telephone calls and faxes to the relevant government ministry in charge of issuing passports in countries, and through staff in World Bank country offices. Passport costs were collected in local currency, and converted into United States dollars at the prevailing interbank exchange rate. After several follow-up attempts, data were able to be collected for passport costs in 127 countries.

In many countries there is not a single passport cost. An attempt to standardize was made by collecting the price of a first-time adult passport valid for five years duration, of the standard number of pages and obtained via the standard processing period. When the country only issues a 10-year passport, this is the price reported. The cost collected contains the cost of the passport itself, but not the cost of paying for photographs, birth certificates, or other such documents which are required along with the passport application.

This data collection provides information on the characteristics of a national sample of housing units, including apartments, single-family homes, mobile homes, and vacant housing units. Unlike previous years, the data are presented in eight separate parts: Part 1, Work Done Record (Replacement or Additions to the House), Part 2, Worker Record, Part 3, Mortgages (Owners Only), Part 4, Housing Unit Record (Main Record), Recodes (One Record per Housing Unit), and Weights, Part 5, Manager and Owner Record (Renters Only), Part 6, Person Record, Part 7, Ratio Verification, and Part 8, Mover Group Record. Data include year the structure was built, type and number of living quarters, occupancy status, access, number of rooms, presence of commercial establishments on the property, and property value. Additional data focus on kitchen and plumbing facilities, types of heating fuel used, source of water, sewage disposal, heating and air-conditioning equipment, and major additions, alterations, or repairs to the property. Information provided on housing expenses includes monthly mortgage or rent payments, cost of services such as utilities, garbage collection, and property insurance, and amount of real estate taxes paid in the previous year. Also included is information on whether the household received government assistance to help pay heating or cooling costs or for other energy-related services. Similar data are provided for housing units previously occupied by respondents who had recently moved. Additionally, indicators of housing and neighborhood quality are supplied. Housing quality variables include privacy of bedrooms, condition of kitchen facilities, basement or roof leakage, breakdowns of plumbing facilities and equipment, and overall opinion of the structure. For quality of neighborhood, variables include use of exterminator services, existence of boarded-up buildings, and overall quality of the neighborhood. In addition to housing characteristics, some demographic data are provided on household members, such as age, sex, race, marital status, income, and relationship to householder. Additional data provided on the householder include years of school completed, Spanish origin, length of residence, and length of occupancy.

The total employment rate in the European reached 71.7 percent in the third quarter of 2024, an increase on the previous quarter and amongst the highest employment rates in the union since 2005. There is a marked inequality between the male and female employment rates in the EU, with the male employment rate being approximately 75 percent, while the rate for females is around 66 percent. The gap between men and women has declined since 2005, when the gap was almost 15 percent, rather than the 10 percent it is today.
