In June 2025, the yield on a 10-year U.S. Treasury note was **** percent, forecasted to decrease to reach **** percent by February 2026. Treasury securities are debt instruments used by the government to finance the national debt. Who owns treasury notes? Because the U.S. treasury notes are generally assumed to be a risk-free investment, they are often used by large financial institutions as collateral. Because of this, billions of dollars in treasury securities are traded daily. Other countries also hold U.S. treasury securities, as do U.S. households. Investors and institutions accept the relatively low interest rate because the U.S. Treasury guarantees the investment. Looking into the future Because these notes are so commonly traded, their interest rate also serves as a signal about the market’s expectations of future growth. When markets expect the economy to grow, forecasts for treasury notes will reflect that in a higher interest rate. In fact, one harbinger of recession is an inverted yield curve, when the return on 3-month treasury bills is higher than the ten-year rate. While this does not always lead to a recession, it certainly signals pessimism from financial markets.

It is a hydrologic model that predicts the flow in every river reach of the National Hydrography Dataset, mathematically modeling physical processes like snowmelt, infiltration and the movement of water through soil layers in order to determine how much of the NWS precipitation forecast becomes runoff, then routing that runoff through the river network. This is the medium term forecast, which is run once a day, predicting streamflow over the next ten days at three hour intervals. Rivers are symbolized according to how the streamflow differs from the monthly normal. What Can You Do With This Layer? This map service is designed for fast data visualization. The number of U.S. home sales in the United States declined in 2024, after soaring in 2021. A total of four million transactions of existing homes, including single-family, condo, and co-ops, were completed in 2024, down from 6.12 million in 2021. According to the forecast, the housing market is forecast to head for recovery in 2025, despite transaction volumes expected to remain below the long-term average. Why have home sales declined? The housing boom during the coronavirus pandemic has demonstrated that being a homeowner is still an integral part of the American dream. Nevertheless, sentiment declined in the second half of 2022 and Americans across all generations agreed that the time was not right to buy a home. A combination of factors has led to house prices rocketing and making homeownership unaffordable for the average buyer. A survey among owners and renters found that the high home prices and unfavorable economic conditions were the two main barriers to making a home purchase. People who would like to purchase their own home need to save up a deposit, have a good credit score, and a steady and sufficient income to be approved for a mortgage. In 2022, mortgage rates experienced the most aggressive increase in history, making the total cost of homeownership substantially higher. Are U.S. home prices expected to fall? The median sales price of existing homes stood at 413,000 U.S. dollars in 2024 and was forecast to increase slightly until 2026. The development of the S&P/Case Shiller U.S. National Home Price Index shows that home prices experienced seven consecutive months of decline between June 2022 and January 2023, but this trend reversed in the following months. Despite mild fluctuations throughout the year, home prices in many metros are forecast to continue to grow, albeit at a much slower rate.

This statistic shows the vendor revenue of the public cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) market from 2012 to 2026. In 2014, the revenue of vendors offering Platforms as a Service in the public cloud market reached a combined value of *** billion U.S. dollars. Until 2026, according to this forecast, annual revenues should total almost ** billion U.S. dollars. Together with Software as a Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) is one of the three overarching models of cloud computing, allowing a business to redirect resources away from IT infrastructure, hardware, and personnel expenses, and towards other needs.Platform as a Service - additional informationThrough Platform-as-a-Service offerings, providers sell their clients access to a computing platform for application development. This usually encompasses an operating system, web servers, databases, and access to a programming-language(s) execution environment. Customers have the ability to develop and execute their software on the cloud platform, without worrying about purchasing or maintaining the supporting hardware, software, and storage resources.Platform as a Service currently represents the smallest segment of the total cloud computing market, but revenues are expected to rise significantly over the coming years. Within 10 years, the share of platform as a service is expected to triple, although it will remain significantly smaller than both the cloud software and infrastructure markets. In the PaaS market, the largest companies are currently Salesforce, Amazon, Microsoft, and IBM. While Salesforce is currently the largest vendor of cloud platform services by some margin, its continued dominance is uncertain. Amazon in particular already controls much of the cloud infrastructure market.
In recent years, nickel prices have hit some of their all-time highest numbers, at an average of almost 26,000 U.S. dollars per metric ton throughout 2022. This was driven by a large spike in prices at the end of that year, where they peaked at 31,275 U.S. dollars per ton in mid-November. The recent surge in nickel prices has been driven by several factors, including disruptions to Russia's (the world's third-largest nickel producer) export industry following its invasion of Ukraine. Additionally, demand for nickel has grown alongside the growth of lithium-ion battery production, driven by the growth of the electronic car market. However, these recent peaks are still well below the all-time annual high of more than 37,000 U.S. dollars in 2007, where low international supply coupled with high demand from China's stainless-steel manufacturing industries caused prices to soar.
In 2026, Pfizer is expected to generate around ** billion U.S. dollars’ worth of prescription drug sales, making it the pharmaceutical company with the seventh highest projected Rx drug-based sales for that specific year.
