The City of Lincoln Independent Redistricting Committee approved the final Lincoln City Council district map at its public meeting on March 3, 2022. The map will define the City Council district boundaries until the next redistricting process after the 2030 U.S. Census. The Independent Redistricting Commission was made up entirely of community members and was empowered to adopt the district boundaries without City Council approval. However, the City of Lincoln City Council will conduct the first read of the ordinance to adopt the map but they may not rescind, supersede, or revise the district boundaries adopted by the commission. For more information visit https://www.lincolnca.gov/en/news/final-redistricting-map.aspx.Updated July 2023 for SUDB Annexation.

Kansas voting districts compiled by the Kansas Legislative Research Department (KLRD). Current as of 2022. Post redistricting precincts are generated to create the precincts to reflect splits by new district boundaries. It is up to the counties to make any changes after that. This includes recombining precincts split from previous redistricting that are no longer necessary or combining newly split pieces with neighboring precincts within the same districts. Renaming precincts is also up to the county. KLRD does not maintain precincts during non-redistricting years.

KLRD in will begin updating precincts for the 2030 U.S. Census in Phase II by collecting the 2028 and 2030 precincts from each county and then submitting the changes from what the Census bureau already has. After all Phase verifications are completed. KLRD then uses this new layer from the Census Bureau for redistricting. The full Kansas geospatial catalog is administered by the Kansas Data Access & Support Center (DASC) and can be found at the following URL: https://hub.kansasgis.org/

The District boundary lines depicted in this map are those released to the public by the map’s sponsors, Georgia State Representatives Houston Gaines and Marcus Wiedower, on January 6, 2022. Subsequent to certification by the State Legislative and Congressional Reapportionment Office, these boundaries were introduced into the 2021-22 regular session of the Georgia General Assembly as House Bill 890. The bill was passed by the House on January 27 and the Senate February 7. On February 17, 2022, Governor Brian Kemp signed an Act (GA Act 351 of 2022) into law. We anticipate that these district boundaries will be revised following the next Census in 2030.

    Description

After the 2020 federal decennial census was released in 2021, the County began the redistricting process. The purpose of redistricting is to redraw the district boundaries to rebalance the population between districts every 10 years so that each district is substantially equal in population and meets certain criteria within the Election Code and U.S. constitution. As a result of the redistricting process, in 2021 Map ID No. 74786 (aka the “Patten Map”) was adopted. In April 2023, due to litigation, the Board of Supervisors set aside Map ID 74786 (layer name: CR_SUPDIST_2021) and approved Map A (layer name: CR_SUPDIST_2023) which established different supervisorial district boundaries. These boundaries are in effect as of their adoption, however, per the Elections Code, they are phased in over the course of several years as terms of office expire and as elections occur in each of the new districts. The original 2011 (2010 Census) district boundaries were used as a framework. The only changes made were to adhere to P.L. 94-171 2020 federal decennial census block lines where they deviate from the 2011 district boundaries. The Map A - 2023 boundaries were adopted by the Board of Supervisors in 2023 to replace the boundaries adopted in 2021.In 2024, Districts 1, 3, and 5 will vote for their supervisor using the 2023 district boundaries. In 2026, Districts 2 and 4 will vote for their supervisor using the 2023 district boundaries. Once the new Board takes office in January 2027, all supervisors will then be re-elected under the 2023 district boundaries. 2023-2030 Supervisorial District Boundaries in polygon format. Description

    A. SUMMARY This dataset contains the current San Francisco Board of Supervisor district boundaries approved by the San Francisco Redistricting Task Force. This dataset was created in April 2022 following redistricting based on the 2020 Decennial Census.

    B. HOW THE DATASET IS CREATED This dataset will be updated to reflect the most current Supervisor District boundaries available. It currently reflects the same boundaries found in Supervisor Districts (2022). More information on how this was created can be found in the datasets by year: Supervisor Districts (2022) and Supervisor Districts (2012)

    C. UPDATE PROCESS Supervisor District boundaries are updated every 10 years following the federal decennial census. The Supervisor District boundaries reflected in this dataset will be manually updated after the next decennial census in 2030.

The dataset is also manually updated as new members of the Board of Supervisors take office. The most recent manual update date is reflected in the 'data_as_of' field.

    D. HOW TO USE THIS DATASET This dataset can be joined to other datasets for analysis and reporting at the Supervisor District level.

If you are building an automated reporting pipeline using Socrata API access, we recommend using this dataset if you would like the boundaries to automatically update after each decennial census to reflect the most recent Supervisor District boundaries. If you'd like your boundaries to remain static, see the Supervisor Districts (2022) dataset.

    Description

Outlines of SCVWD Board of Directors Election Districts, result of the 2022 redistricting process. Adopted in 2022 for use in 2022-2030 elections. Covers all of Santa Clara County. From https://www.valleywater.org/how-we-operate/redistricting-The District Act, in addition to Federal and State law, requires the board to review the boundaries of the seven electoral districts established pursuant to Section 7.7 before November 1 of the year following the year in which each decennial census is taken. The boundaries shall be adjusted if needed in accordance with Section 22000 of the Elections Code so that each electoral Santa Clara Valley Water District Act district is as nearly equal in population to the others as possible. Adjustment of electoral districts is usually accomplished through the completion of a redistricting study, to ensure that each modified district meets the one-person, one-vote test, and to ensure compliance with the federal Voting Rights Act. To assist with the completion of a redistricting study in an inclusive, transparent, and comprehensive manner, and in order to garner community input on redistricting, the Board of Directors established a Redistricting Advisory Committee. The committee is comprised of seven community leaders from throughout Santa Clara County.
