This series is the Court of Petty Sessions official record of its business with regard to the granting, annual renewal and transfer of second-hand dealer licenses.
Under the Second-Hand Dealers Acts of 1918 and 1920, persons wishing to trade as second-hand dealers needed to be licensed. Prescribed penalties applied for unlicensed dealers. This license was to be applied for with the endorsement of five householders in the trading area. A report had to be provided by the local police on the appropriateness of issuing such a license or permitting its transfer to another individual.
Applications were to be considered by a Court of Petty Sessions with the applicant being able to be granted a licence if considered a fit and proper person to hold such a license.
Information recorded in these registers was a number; date of application; full name and address of the dealer (or transferor or proposed transferee); name and rank of any objector (if any); date of objection and decision and a remarks column.

GPS/GNSS data are recorded at 15-s or 30-s intervals. Several hundred stations of the PBO network also supply downloaded or streamed 1-s data for archiving and distribution. GAGE Analysis Centers process data for all 1100 sites in the PBO GPS/GNSS network and for other sites, including most of the sites in COCONet in the Caribbean region and an additional 500 sites distributed across North America, most of which are operated by other institutions. Soil moisture, snow-water equivalent from snowpack, and water stored in vegetation exert a load on the Earth's surface that is modeled to obtain displacements at GPS/GNSS sites. Outputs GPS crustal motion velocity field estimates. '] Web Service Link [ 'Results from daily GPS station position solutions are combined to generate long-term velocity estimate solutions of stations in IGS08 and NAM08 (North America fixed) reference frames. Station offsets due to earthquakes and equipment changes are estimated and low-quality outliers due to snow, for example, are removed from the velocity estimate solutions ']
This shows amounts received from Colonial Treasurer, and expended upon Gratuities, Depots etc. Also shows, under several headings (eg. Salaries, Advertising, Quarantine Expenses etc.), amounts received and spent.

Knotted Cordage, Accession AMNH29.0, Catalog #5279 and 5278. Morris FS 28 and 27. Analyzed by Laurie Webster, 2006. Cordage, 2Z-S and 2(2S-Z)S, knotted for feathers. Image: AMNH 29.0/5279_5278A: cords for feather attachment, 5278 has remnants of feathers. Recovered from Earl Morris' excavation of Room 122-2, Aztec West Ruin. Morris (1928:357) indicates that “Room 122-2 is situated above Room 112. Refuse, more than half of its bulk composed of vegetable and other perishable substances, had been thrown in through the door connecting with the room above Room 110, forming a fan-shaped deposit, 2 feet deep, beneath the door and dwindling out in the northeast and northwest corners. Being in an outer tier, the slope above Room 122-2, was very steep, providing excellent drainage, which condition, together with the air space beneath the floor, had excluded all moisture from the refuse. This mass, of Chaco age, contained a fine assortment of textiles and other perishable artifacts (29.0-5251-5400), such as in most places is entirely decayed. The conspicuous components of the deposit, other than manufactured articles, were shreds of cedarbark, cornhusks, and cobs, strips of yucca leaf in great abundance, excrement, ashes, and floor sweepings.” Reference: Earl Morris, 1928, Notes on Excavations in the Aztec Ruin, Volume XXVI, Part V, Anthropological Papers of the American Museum of Natural History, New York.

This Layer depicts the location, extent and details of Land Use Zones in Ireland not already defined in Development Plans or Local Area Plans. It is a standardised composite of Local Authority zoning from individual Plans developed for the Myplan project (www.myplan.ie). This represents a consistent zoning scheme across all local authorities, and complements (rather than replaces) the existing statutory zoning used for each individual plan.
