Accuracy: Data are from the "Weekly Update on Suspect Drug-Related Deaths in Ontario, by PHU Region" published weekly by the OCCO. Data are preliminary and subject to change.Suspect-drug related deaths include deaths where the preliminary investigation by the investigating coroner indicated: drugs were found at the scene, substance use equipment found at the scene, history of drug abuse, history of naloxone use, physical sign of drug use, positional asphyxia, unresponsive with snoring prior to death, or preliminary findings from autopsy indicate a suspected drug intoxication.Suspect-drug related deaths exclude deaths associated with trauma and medical assistance in dying cases. Investigations of suspect-drug related deaths may take several months, with identification of a number of death types, including: (1) opioid; (2) non-opioid acute drug toxicity, or (3) natural deaths (e.g., cardiac events), with different manners of death (natural, suicide, accident). When deaths initially thought to be drug related are determined to be natural deaths, this death is not removed from the preliminary suspected drug related death count to maintain comparable baseline data for the most recent months. Geographic regions are assigned based primarily on location of incident, however due to delays in data entry, may not yet be assigned for some recent deaths. Update Frequency: Weekly

The Great Britain Historical Database has been assembled as part of the ongoing Great Britain Historical GIS Project. The project aims to trace the emergence of the north-south divide in Britain and to provide a synoptic view of the human geography of Britain at sub-county scales. Further information about the project is available on A Vision of Britain webpages, where users can browse the database's documentation system online.
These data were originally published in the reports of the Registrar-General for Scotland. They were computerised by the Great Britain Historical GIS Project and its collaborators. They form part of the Great Britain Historical Database, which contains a wide range of geographically-located statistics, selected to trace the emergence of the north-south divide in Britain and to provide a synoptic view of the human geography of Britain, generally at sub-county scales.
The data comprise complete transcriptions of a small number of tables selected from the Annual Reports, and Decennial Supplements, of the Registrar General:
(1) Annual counts of births, marriages and deaths in 1861, 1881 and 1911.
(2) Annual counts of births (and stillbirths), deaths, and deaths by 5- or 10-year age bands in 1921, 1930, 1931, 1941, 1950, 1951, 1961 and 1971.
(3) Deaths by gender and 5-year age bands in 1881.
(4) Cause of death by gender and 5-year age bands for the decades 1881-90 and 1891-1900.
The data are always by county and sometimes also by burgh and district.
Please note: this study does not include information on named individuals and would therefore not be useful for personal family history research.
All data are counts of births, marriages or deaths except for population totals taken from the census.
SummaryThe cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 deaths among Maryland residents by age: 0-9; 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+; Unknown.DescriptionThe MD COVID-19 - Confirmed Deaths by Age Distribution data layer is a collection of the statewide confirmed COVID-19 related deaths that have been reported each day by the Vital Statistics Administration by designated age ranges. A death is classified as confirmed if the person had a laboratory-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result. Some data on deaths may be unavailable due to the time lag between the death, typically reported by a hospital or other facility, and the submission of the complete death certificate. Probable deaths are available from the MD COVID-19 - Probable Deaths by Age Distribution data layer.COVID-19 is a disease caused by a respiratory virus first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China in December 2019. COVID-19 is a new virus that hasn't caused illness in humans before. Worldwide, COVID-19 has resulted in thousands of infections, causing illness and in some cases death. Summary of COVID-19 community outbreaks in Ottawa based on the most up to date information available in the Ontario Ministry of Health Public Health Case and Contact Management Solution (CCM).
Accuracy: Points of consideration for interpretation of the data:
• The data was extracted by Ottawa Public Health from the Ontario Ministry of Health Public Health Case and Contact Management Solution (CCM). The CCM is a dynamic disease reporting system that allows for ongoing updates to data previously entered. The data extracted from The CCM represent a snapshot at the time of extraction and may differ in previous or subsequent reports.
• Data are for confirmed outbreaks and the number Ottawa residents with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 associated to each outbreak is provided. Please note, individuals may be linked to multiple outbreaks.
• All the outbreaks reflect the outbreak definitions at the time they were declared open:
o Community: From April 1st 2020, 2 or more laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases with an epidemiological link in the setting within a 14-day period where at least 2 cases could have reasonably acquired their infection in the setting. Examples of epidemiological links in community settings include community organization (e.g. attended same social or volunteer club meeting), religious/spiritual organization (e.g. attended same service), residential (e.g. multi-unit dwelling - from different households in the same apartment building but rode the elevator together, used a common room at the same time), social event (e.g. attended same one-time party, wedding or funeral together), sports and recreation (e.g. attended same sports team practice or fitness class), or workplace (e.g. same work area, same shift).
• Public health is only required to formally declare outbreaks for workplace community settings but has chosen to declare outbreaks in other community settings when there is more risk to the public, there are challenges in contact tracing and/or capacity allows. Since October 2020, OPH has systematically reported outbreaks in other community settings. Please see the definitions for community outbreaks posted on the OPH COVID-19 Dashboard web page for more information.
