Data was created based on these projects:West Adams Densification published April 1996. This GPS project was performed by John E Chance & Associates Inc. for Adams County Urban Drainage & Flood Control District and Metro Wastewater Reclamation District. Field observations were made in 1995 with the Final Report published in January 1996. The horizontal accuracy was 1:500;000 and the vertical accuracy was Third Order (NGS).The 1999 Adams County GIS Survey of Section Corners was completed by locating the Aliquot Corners (Section corners) within the westerly 1/3 of Adams County utilizing GPS Real Time Kinematic (RTK) survey techniques as part of the East Adams Densification published in November 1999. East Adams Densification horizontal accuracy was 1:500;000 and the vertical accuracy was Third Order (NGS).The horizontal coordinates are in North American Datum(NAD) 1983 (1992). The orthometric (vertical) values are in North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) 1988.

Download .zipThe Ohio Wetlands Inventory is based on analysis of satellite data by Bruce R. Motsch and Gary M. Schaal and is intended solely as an indicator of wetland sites for which field review should be conducted. The satellite data reflect conditions during the specific year and season the data was acquired and all wetlands may not be indicated. Statistics generated from the inventory are intended solely as an approximation.
The Ohio Wetlands Inventory for Adams County was produced from April 1986 Landsat Thematic mapper data (cell size 30 meters by 30 meters) using ERDAS Image processing software. The raster data has been converted to ARC/INFO format and exported to an interchange file.
The data was originally georeferenced to UTM zone 17 coordinates NAD 27 and is also available in this coordinate system in ERDAS Imagine format.
The class of woods on hydric soils, wet meadow and farmed wetland fall on hydric soils when digital soils data is available for the county.
Original coverage data was converted from the .e00 file to a more standard ESRI shapefile(s) in November 2014.Contact Information:GIS Support, ODNR GIS ServicesOhio Department of Natural ResourcesReal Estate & Land ManagementReal Estate and Lands Management2045 Morse Rd, Bldg I-2Columbus, OH, 43229Telephone: 614-265-6462Email: gis.support@dnr.ohio.gov

Parcels in Adams County, Colorado containing ownership and site address information. Updated weekly. This layer can be related to the Property Sales, Property Values and Property Improvements tables on the PARCELNB field. The standalone property tables are updated before the Parcels feature layer so there can be small discrepancies between them. These parcels are intended to depict approximate location of land ownership. NOT FOR ENGINEERING PURPOSES. This data is not survey accuracy. The only people that can perform official surveys in the State of Colorado are Colorado Licensed Professional Land Surveyors. For a more detailed description of the parcel tables, refer to this document: Assessor Data Descriptions

Download .zipMaps and data associated with oil-and-gas wells represent one of the largest datasets at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. This GIS data layer contains all the locatable oil-and-gas wells in Ohio. The feature is derived from coordinates obtained from the Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (DOGRM) oil and gas well database – Risk Based Data Management System (RBDMS). The RBDMS database has a long history and is a comprehensive collection of well data from historic pre-1980 paper well records (digitized by the Division of Geological Survey (DGS)) to post-1980 DOGRM database solutions.Since 1860, it is estimated that more than 267,000 oil-and-gas wells have been drilled in Ohio. The compressed file also includes a feature used to connect the surface location to the bottom location of a well that has been drilled directionally or horizontally. This feature is NOT the actual wellbore path, it is simply a graphical representation indicating the relationship between the two well points.Contact Information:GIS Support, ODNR GIS ServicesOhio Department of Natural ResourcesDivision of Oil & Gas ResourcesOil and Gas Resources Management2045 Morse Road Bldg F-2Columbus, OH, 43229-6693Telephone: 614-265-6462Email: gis.support@dnr.ohio.gov

This data release for the reconnaissance geologic map of the Hells Canyon Study Area, Wallowa County, Oregon, and Idaho and Adams Counties, Idaho, is a Geologic Map Schema (GeMS, 2020)-compliant version of the geologic map published in U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Scientific Investigations Report Map SIR 2007-5046 (Simmons, et al, 2007). The database represents the geology for the 625,177-acre (2,530 square kilometers), geologically complex Hells Canyon Study Area in two plates, at a publication scale of 1:48,000. The study area includes (1) the Hells Canyon Wilderness; (2) parts of the Snake River, Rapid River, and West Fork Rapid River Wild and Scenic Rivers; (3) lands included in the second Roadless Area Review and Evaluation (RARE II); and (4) part of the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. Download .zipThis coverage was extracted from the 1994 statewide land cover inventory of Ohio produced by Bruce R. Motsch and Gary M. Schaal of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
The land cover inventory for the State of Ohio was produced by the digital image processing of Landsat Thematic Mapper Data. The Thematic Mapper is a multi-spectral scanner that collects electromagnetic radiation reflected from the earth's surface in the visible, near infrared and mid-infrared wavelength bands. The resolution of the Thematic Mapper data is a 30 meter by 30 meter cell. The computer analysis of the data isolates unique spectral classes that relate to land cover characteristics.
The land cover inventory was produced from Thematic Mapper data acquired in September and October 1994. The data was classified into the general land cover categories of urban, agriculture/open urban areas, shrub/scrub, wooded, open water, non-forested wetlands and barren.
The land cover information reflects the conditions of the satellite data during the specific year and season the data was acquired. The Thematic Mapper data was processed using ERDAS image processing software. The data was originally created in raster format and georeferenced to Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) zone 17 coordinates NAD27. The data can be combined with other georeferenced digital data layers.
The data is also available in its original ERDAS image format.

ESCO Associates Inc. was subcontracted by Gannett Fleming, Inc., a contractor to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), to conduct a survey of wetlands within the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge (RMA). The product of this project is a wetland vegetation map. RMA is a CERCLA site in Commerce City in southwestern Adams County, Colorado, encompassing approximately 26 square miles. Surface waters entering the site are chiefly in First Creek and the Highline Lateral in the site's southeast corner. Some surface water also enters the site's southern boundary (56th Street) via several smaller ditches. Ground water daylights at seeps at various locations on the site. The site includes large areas formerly cropped for small grains and a few areas of remnant natural prairie grassland. Natural drainages have largely been straightened ('channelized ') in historic time and the extent of well-wetted floodplain has been substantially reduced. Reservoirs for the original purpose of irrigation water storage in the southern part of the area have developed extensive wetted zones in their peripheries. Supply and distribution ditches associated with this irrigation system are scattered through the southern part of the AMA site. This project involved mapping wetland plant communities in the field from 25 August through 20 October 1998, on digital orthophotos provided by the Remediation Venture Office Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Department. Photo points of sampling location are included in this report.
