This dataset contains the address points of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. The dataset is structured according to the INSPIRE Annex I Theme - Addresses. The data has been derived from the Cadastral database. For every parcel, where an address is known, the address point is located on the entrance of the main building(s). The syntax of the addresses is compliant with the "CACLR" - database (https://www.services-publics.lu/caclr/index.action) These addresses are used for the geolocalisation in the Geoportal (http://map.geoportal.lu) They have been transposed into the INSPIRE data model and coordinate system. Description copied from catalog.inspire.geoportail.lu.
Locations of all authoritative site addresses for Fairfax County. These addresses reside and are maintained in the Fairfax Master Address Repository (MAR) which is housed in the enterprise GIS database. This data contains not only the address, including street name, unit numbers for condominiums, city, state, and zip, but also several other related attributes such as jurisdiction and subdivision name that the address resides. This layer is updated daily from the data maintained in the MAR layer and related tables. Updates to this data occur when address data is recorded or approved and authorized by Land Development Service, Facilitation and Address Center (LDS-FAC).
Important information about unit numbers. This data is based on ownership and address site location. Therefore, addresses for apartment buildings will just have the primary building address. They will not include the unit numbers as there is no requirement for submission of unit numbers for apartment buildings in the county. Addresses for condominiums will have the primary address as well as the unit number as these are recorded with the Act of Condominium documents and each unit has separate ownership.

The National Address Base is a database that aims to reference all addresses in France.
It contains the geographical position of more than 25 million addresses.
It is formed by the collaboration between:
The project is co-governed by the General Data Administrator and the National Council for Geographic Information.
It is published on the site address.data.gouv.fr developed by the Etalab mission of the General Secretariat for the Modernization of Public Action (SGMAP).
The data is available under two licenses:< /p>
A free geocoding service is provided by the Etalab mission.
The Address Coordinator in the Planning Department assigns new addresses during the application review process per the address manual. The status field can be used to filter out valid addresses. The True, Multi, Corner (status will be changed to true when the building configuration is identified), and Model values are all valid addresses.
Other Statuses:
Preliminary - subdivision addresses assigned during the review process and are not official until the plat is recorded; Temporary - addresses assigned to power poles and construction trailers during the building process; Land - addresses for undeveloped properties; Range - used to aid the address coordinator in assigning new addresses when calculating the address range on a new street segment; Retired - former addresses that are no longer in use like shopping center reconfigurations.
Use field: This field helps clarify what the address is representing such as power meters for subdivision fountains or pump houses in multi-family developments.
The address field is a concatenation of the individual address fields except for the unit number (field name = Units).
Address with suffix field concatenates the address number and any suffix for use in geocoders.

Background
This dataset provides all allocated addresses as advised to Toitū Te Whenua LINZ by Territorial Authorities (TAs). Under the Local Government Act 1974 (section 319) it is the responsibility of the TAs to advise the Surveyor-General at Toitū Te Whenua LINZ of all allocated addresses in their district.
The dataset is maintained by Toitū Te Whenua LINZ in the Address Information Management System (AIMS) which is centralised database for the management of national addresses, including for electoral purposes. This dataset is updated weekly on the LINZ Data Service.

The Street_and_Address_Composite will return a geographic coordinate when a street address is entered. A user can enter an address either manually or by bulk input from a database or other source. The geocoder returns a coordinate pair and standardized address for each input address it is able to match. The NYS ITS Geospatial Services geocoder uses a series of combinations of reference data and configuration parameters to optimize both the likelihood of a match and the quality of the results. The reference data supporting the geocoder is stored in Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) standard. The first composite locator (Street_and_Address_Composite) is made up of the following set of locators which are most likely to return a high quality hit. The locators are listed in the order in which they will be accessed along with a brief description of the locator's source data. National Address DatabaseThis National Geospatial Data Asset (NGDA) dataset, shared as a U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) feature layer, displays address data in the United States. Per USDOT, "The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) and its partners from all levels of government recognize the need for a National Address Database (NAD). Accurate and up-to-date addresses are critical to transportation safety and are a vital part of Next Generation 9-1-1. They are also essential for a broad range of government services, including mail delivery, permitting, and school siting. To meet this need, USDOT partners with address programs from state, local, and tribal governments to compile their authoritative data into the NAD."District of Columbia (DC) Residential AddressesData currency: Current federal service (Address Points from National Address Database)NGDAID: 196 (National Address Database (NAD))For more information: Getting to know the National Address Database (NAD); National Address DatabaseFor feedback, please contact: Esri_US_Federal_Data@esri.comNGDA Data SetThis data set is part of the NGDA Transportation Theme Community.
