    Description

Land Use 2010 is a parcel based, land use map representing land use conditions for the City of Austin and surrounding areas. Previous studies were made in 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2003. The 2010 study area included all of Travis County and parts of Hays, Williamson, Bastrop and Blanco Counties. Land use parcel geometry was based on the City of Austin's 2003 Land Use Study and City of Austin base map or county appraisal district GIS and CAD files. Historical land use data from previous studies, especially 2003, county tax appraisal district information, aerial photographs or other land-use related information was used to characterize the 2010 land uses. City of Austin staff, local planning or engineering consultants, researchers, students or area residents can use land use data for water resource research, planning, management, infrastructure and transportation planning, development, comprehensive or neighborhood planning and spatial analysis. Specifically the 2010 land use layer can be used to study land use change and development patterns and as an input to water quality, flood, erosion or transportation models. The following includes some, but not all data limitations: "Land use is current as of approximately September, 2010", "Parcels along the study area boundary may represent only a portion of the original", "Parcels adjacent to area lakes differ from those in the 2003 Land Use Study," "Land use polygons may differ from tax appraisal district parcels", "Corrections to the original 2010 Land Use Study will be shown in periodic updates", and "Methods used to characterize land use in the latest study differ from previous studies and may not be directly comparable." This product has been produced by the Communications and Technology Department for the sole purpose of geographic reference. No warranty is made by the City of Austin regarding specific accuracy or completeness.

2012-2013 Statewide School Districts for Texas. This information was collected from all 254 county central appraisal districts and from the Texas Education Agency. GIS staff of the Texas Legislative Council created the school district boundaries using the 2010 TIGER/Line Shapefile as base geography and made further corrections to match the school district boundary updates and name changes for the 2012-2013 School Year. These changes include lines that are not census geography. Changes to school district boundaries may include one or all of the following types: school district annexations or de-annexations; school district consolidations, deletions or additions; boundary corrections to the Texas Legislative Council database; boundary adjustments due to more spatially accurate data involving land parcels and survey data received from a county central appraisal district. Note: The 2012-2013 School Year school districts in the council's geographic file are not the same as the 2009-2010 School District Review Program (SDRP) districts in the Census Bureau's TIGER/Line Shapefile. The population data for the council's 2012-2013 school districts does not correspond with the population data reported for the 2009-2010 SDRP school districts in the Census Bureau's PL 94-171 file.

MassGIS' standardized ("Level 3") property tax parcel mapping data set was developed through a competitive procurement funded by MassGIS. Each community in the Commonwealth was bid on by one or more vendors and the unit of work awarded was a city or town. The specification for this work was Level 3 of the MassGIS Digital Parcel Standard. Standardization of assessor parcel mapping is complete for all 351 Massachusetts' cities and towns. MassGIS is now incorporating updates from municipalities into the database. This hosted feature layer is exported from MassGIS' internal database of the feature class GISDATA.L3_TAXPAR_POLY_ASSESS, which links L3_TAXPAR_POLY and L3_ASSESS. The export includes the expression: (POLY_TYPE IN ('FEE', 'TAX')) OR (POLY_TYPE IN ('ROW', 'PRIV_ROW', 'RAIL_ROW', 'WATER') AND PROP_ID IS NOT NULL) It contains several fields from GISDATA.L3_ASSESS and stacked polygons where multiple assessor records link to a parcel. It contains features that do not have an associated record in GISDATA.L3_ASSESS, except for rights of way and water bodies. ROWs and water bodies with a non-null PROP_ID are included. The data in this feature layer is used for the popups in the Massachusetts Interactive Property Map. See full data descriptionA hosted tile layer will draw very quickly at map scale of 1:18,056 (level 15) to 1:564 (level 20).

    Description

This dataset is a spatial display of US Forest Service stumpage market appraisal zones. A zone may encompass a Region, a National Forest, a group of Ranger Districts, or combinations thereof. Each unique market appraisal zone defines a localized stumpage market. In each market area, stumpage values reflect the market value of standing trees (on the stump) prior to felling, removal, and utilization in a value-added manufacturing activity. The zone boundary is typically determined by factors including, but not limited to, manufacturing facilities, hauling distances, species yield compositions, timber quality, market area competition, and logging methods.
