Address points mark the location of each addressable structure and its access point. The access point is the place where a driveway intersects the road. The building point is where the structure is located. An addressable structure is one where people live, work, or gather. A 1 to 5-digit number designates an address. Purpose: The access point is used to assign an address to the structure. Addresses are also assigned to assist in the provision of emergency services; they can be queried at all Fire and Rescue stations and by E-911 dispatchers. Supplemental Information: Data are stored in the corporate ArcSDE Geodatabase as a feature class. The coordinate system is Virginia State Plane (North), Zone 4501, datum NAD83 HARN. Maintenance and Update Frequency: Daily Completeness Report: Features may have been eliminated or generalized due to scale and intended use. To assist Loudoun County, Virginia in the maintenance of the data, please provide any information concerning discovered errors, omissions, or other discrepancies found in the data.

Statewide Download (FGDB) (SHP)Users can also download smaller geographic areas of this feature service in ArcGIS Pro using the Copy Features geoprocessing tool. The address service contains statewide address points and related landmark name alias table and street name alias table. The New Jersey Office of Information Technology, Office of GIS (NJOGIS), in partnership with several local GIS and public safety agencies, has built a comprehensive statewide NG9-1-1 database meeting and exceeding the requirements of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) 2018 NG9-1-1 GIS Data Standard (NENA-STA-006.1-2018). The existing New Jersey Statewide Address Point data last published in 2016 has been transformed in the NENA data model to create this new address point data. The initial address points were processed from statewide parcel records joined with the statewide Tax Assessor's (MOD-IV) database in 2015. Address points supplied by Monmouth County, Sussex County, Morris County and Montgomery Township in Somerset County were incorporated into the statewide address points using customized Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) procedures. The previous version of the address points was loaded into New Jersey's version of the NENA NG9-1-1 data model using Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) procedures created with Esri's Data Interoperability Extension. Subsequent manual and bulk processing corrections and additions have been made, and are ongoing.***NOTE*** For users who incorporate NJOGIS services into web maps and/or web applications, please sign up for the NJ Geospatial Forum discussion listserv for early notification of service changes. This GIS Address Point dataset was created and updated by Broward County GIS. As of May 1st, 2015, all single-family residential homes have been updated in this layer and placed on corresponding building footprints when applicable. Since then other addresses are added as they become available from various authoritative sources. December 2016 reprojected to NAD 1983 HARN State Plane Florida East FIPS 0901 Feet.

    · Regular updates to this dataset as new data is submitted and verified.

    · Data is considered current.

This layer is not a complete set of addresses in Broward County. We are in the process of accomplishing our goal to provide emergency services with a precise dataset conducive to rapid and efficient emergency response. Expected completion date is unknown at this time. Future enhancements will include addresses for multi-family residences, strip malls, businesses, etc.

    Description

The Address Points dataset shows Utah address points for all twenty-nine Utah counties. An address point represents a geographic location that has been assigned a US Postal Service (USPS) address by the local address authority (i.e., county or municipality) but does not necessarily receive mail. Address points may include several pieces of information about the structure or location that’s being mapped, such as:the full address (i.e., the USPS mailing address, if the address is for a physical location [rather than a PO box]);the landmark name; whether the location is a building;the type of unit;the city and ZIP code; unique code identifiers of the specific geographic location, including the Federal Information Processing Standard Publication (FIPS) county code and the US National Grid (USNG) spatial address;the address source; andthe date that the address point was loaded into the map layer. This dataset is mapping grade; it is a framework layer that receives regular updates. As with all our datasets, the Utah Geospatial Resource Center (UGRC) works to ensure the quality and accuracy of our data to the best of our abilities. Maintaining the dataset is now an ongoing effort between UGRC, counties, and municipalities. Specifically, UGRC works with each county or municipality’s Master Address List (MAL) authority to continually improve the address point data. Counties have been placed on an update schedule depending on the rate of new development and change within them. Populous counties, such as Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, Utah, and Washington, are more complete and are updated monthly, while rural or less populous counties may be updated quarterly or every six months. The information in the Address Points dataset was originally compiled by Utah counties and municipalities and was aggregated by UGRC for the MAL grant initiative in 2012. The purpose of this initiative was to make sure that all state entities were using the same verified, accurate county and municipal address information. Since 2012, more data has been added to the Address Points GIS data and is used for geocoding, 911 response, and analysis and planning purposes. The Address Point data is also used as reference data for the api.mapserv.utah.gov geocoding endpoint, and you can find the address points in many web mapping applications. This dataset is updated monthly and can also be found at: https://gis.utah.gov/data/location/address-data/.

    Description

MassGIS is working very closely with the State 911 Department in the state’s Executive Office of Public Safety and Security on the Next Generation 911 Emergency Call System. MassGIS developed and is maintaining the map and address information that are at the heart of this new system. Statewide deployment of this new 9-1-1 call routing system was completed in 2018.Address sources include the Voter Registration List from the Secretary of the Commonwealth, site addresses from municipal departments (primarily assessors), and customer address lists from utilities. Addresses from utilities were “anonymized” to protect customer privacy. The MAD was also validated for completeness using the Emergency Service List (a list of telephone land line addresses) from Verizon. The MAD contains both tabular and spatial data, with addresses being mapped as point features. At present, the MAD contains 3.2 million address records and 2.2 million address points. As the database is very dynamic with changes being made daily, the data available for download will be refreshed weekly.A Statewide Addressing Standard for Municipalities is another useful asset that has been created as part of this ongoing project. It is a best practices guide for the creation and storage of addresses for Massachusetts Municipalities.Points features with each point having an address to the building/floor/unit level, when that information is available. Where more than one address is located at a single location multiple points are included (i.e. "stacked points"). The points for the most part represent building centroids. Other points are located as assessor parcel centroids.Points will display at scales 1:75,000 and closer.MassGIS' service does not contain points for Boston; they may be accessed at https://data.boston.gov/dataset/live-street-address-management-sam-addresses/resource/873a7659-68b6-4ac0-98b7-6d8af762b6f1.More details about the MAD and Master Address Points.Map service also available.

This dataset represents the address point locations assigned by the Mat-Su Borough GIS/Addressing staff. Most of the parcels within the Mat-Su Borough that are road accessible have been assigned a physical address except where the access point is unknown, as with undeveloped corner lots. The address points in this dataset do not necessarily represent precise building locations as the data was originally based on the underlying parcel centroids. Data has historically been constructed and maintained using ArcView and ArcEditor applications. The current address assignment process involves using an ArcMap extension called MapSAG, which creates point features as directed by the GIS Addressing staff. Address information is populated at this time. As underlying parcel data accuracy has been spatially improved through field verification and mapping grade GPS equipment, address points have been shifted accordingly to fall within the appropriate parcels.
