TwitterThe Digital Geologic-GIS Map of Grant's Headquarters at City Point, Petersburg National Battlefield, Virginia is composed of GIS data layers and GIS tables, and is available in the following GRI-supported GIS data formats: 1.) a 10.1 file geodatabase (cipo_geology.gdb), a 2.) Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) geopackage, and 3.) 2.2 KMZ/KML file for use in Google Earth, however, this format version of the map is limited in data layers presented and in access to GRI ancillary table information. The file geodatabase format is supported with a 1.) ArcGIS Pro map file (.mapx) file (cipo_geology.mapx) and individual Pro layer (.lyrx) files (for each GIS data layer), as well as with a 2.) 10.1 ArcMap (.mxd) map document (cipo_geology.mxd) and individual 10.1 layer (.lyr) files (for each GIS data layer). The OGC geopackage is supported with a QGIS project (.qgz) file. Upon request, the GIS data is also available in ESRI 10.1 shapefile format. Contact Stephanie O'Meara (see contact information below) to acquire the GIS data in these GIS data formats. In addition to the GIS data and supporting GIS files, three additional files comprise a GRI digital geologic-GIS dataset or map: 1.) A GIS readme file (pete_geology_gis_readme.pdf), 2.) the GRI ancillary map information document (.pdf) file (pete_geology.pdf) which contains geologic unit descriptions, as well as other ancillary map information and graphics from the source map(s) used by the GRI in the production of the GRI digital geologic-GIS data for the park, and 3.) a user-friendly FAQ PDF version of the metadata (cipo_geology_metadata_faq.pdf). Please read the pete_geology_gis_readme.pdf for information pertaining to the proper extraction of the GIS data and other map files. Google Earth software is available for free at: https://www.google.com/earth/versions/. QGIS software is available for free at: https://www.qgis.org/en/site/. Users are encouraged to only use the Google Earth data for basic visualization, and to use the GIS data for any type of data analysis or investigation. The data were completed as a component of the Geologic Resources Inventory (GRI) program, a National Park Service (NPS) Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) Division funded program that is administered by the NPS Geologic Resources Division (GRD). For a complete listing of GRI products visit the GRI publications webpage: For a complete listing of GRI products visit the GRI publications webpage: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/geology/geologic-resources-inventory-products.htm. For more information about the Geologic Resources Inventory Program visit the GRI webpage: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/geology/gri,htm. At the bottom of that webpage is a "Contact Us" link if you need additional information. You may also directly contact the program coordinator, Jason Kenworthy (jason_kenworthy@nps.gov). Source geologic maps and data used to complete this GRI digital dataset were provided by the following: U.S. Geological Survey. Detailed information concerning the sources used and their contribution the GRI product are listed in the Source Citation section(s) of this metadata record (cipo_geology_metadata.txt or cipo_geology_metadata_faq.pdf). Users of this data are cautioned about the locational accuracy of features within this dataset. Based on the source map scale of 1:24,000 and United States National Map Accuracy Standards features are within (horizontally) 12.2 meters or 40 feet of their actual location as presented by this dataset. Users of this data should thus not assume the location of features is exactly where they are portrayed in Google Earth, ArcGIS, QGIS or other software used to display this dataset. All GIS and ancillary tables were produced as per the NPS GRI Geology-GIS Geodatabase Data Model v. 2.3. (available at: https://www.nps.gov/articles/gri-geodatabase-model.htm).

TwitterThis GIS Address Point dataset was created and updated by Broward County GIS. As of May 1st, 2015, all single-family residential homes have been updated in this layer and placed on corresponding building footprints when applicable. Since then other addresses are added as they become available from various authoritative sources. December 2016 reprojected to NAD 1983 HARN State Plane Florida East FIPS 0901 Feet.
· Regular updates to this dataset as new data is submitted and verified.
· Data is considered current.
This layer is not a complete set of addresses in Broward County. We are in the process of accomplishing our goal to provide emergency services with a precise dataset conducive to rapid and efficient emergency response. Expected completion date is unknown at this time. Future enhancements will include addresses for multi-family residences, strip malls, businesses, etc.

The address service contains statewide address points and related landmark name alias table and street name alias table. The New Jersey Office of Information Technology, Office of GIS (NJOGIS), in partnership with several local GIS and public safety agencies, has built a comprehensive statewide NG9-1-1 database meeting and exceeding the requirements of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) 2018 NG9-1-1 GIS Data Standard (NENA-STA-006.1-2018). The existing New Jersey Statewide Address Point data last published in 2016 has been transformed in the NENA data model to create this new address point data. The initial address points were processed from statewide parcel records joined with the statewide Tax Assessor's (MOD-IV) database in 2015. Address points supplied by Monmouth County, Sussex County, Morris County and Montgomery Township in Somerset County were incorporated into the statewide address points using customized Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) procedures. The previous version of the address points was loaded into New Jersey's version of the NENA NG9-1-1 data model using Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) procedures created with Esri's Data Interoperability Extension. Subsequent manual and bulk processing corrections and additions have been made, and are ongoing.***NOTE*** For users who incorporate NJOGIS services into web maps and/or web applications, please sign up for the NJ Geospatial Forum discussion listserv for early notification of service changes. Address points mark the location of each addressable structure and its access point. The access point is the place where a driveway intersects the road. The building point is where the structure is located. An addressable structure is one where people live, work, or gather. A 1 to 5-digit number designates an address. Purpose: The access point is used to assign an address to the structure. Addresses are also assigned to assist in the provision of emergency services; they can be queried at all Fire and Rescue stations and by E-911 dispatchers. Supplemental Information: Data are stored in the corporate ArcSDE Geodatabase as a feature class. The coordinate system is Virginia State Plane (North), Zone 4501, datum NAD83 HARN. TwitterThis resource links to the Texas Address and Base Layers Story Map (Esri ArcGIS Online web app) [1] that provides a graphical overview and set of interactive maps to download Texas statewide address points, as well as contextual map layers including roads, rail, bridges, rivers, dams, low water crossings, stream gauges, and others. The addresses were compiled over the period from June 2016 to December 2017 by the Center for Water and the Environment (CWE) at the University of Texas at Austin, with guidance and funding from the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM). These addresses are used by TDEM to help anticipate potential impacts of serious weather and flooding events statewide.

November 2023 update: in 2019, TNRIS took over maintenance of the Texas Address Database, which is now updated annually as part of the StratMap program [5]. Also, TNRIS changed its name this year to the Texas Geographic Information Office (TxGIO). The StratMap and DataHub download sites still use the tnris.org domain but that may change .
