    Description

Publishing your data and maps from desktop GIS to ArcGIS Online is essential to unlock modern GIS capabilities like collaboration or sharing your projects using interactive data-driven applications. The key to unlock this connected GIS is ArcGIS Identity. With an ArcGIS Identity you are unlocking a connected GIS. You can share your maps or selected map layers as a web layer. Web layers are stored in your organization's ArcGIS Online as one of the 7 different layer types of hosted layers. Depending on the layer type, the hosted layer will be shared with different capabilities.

More MetadataThe Village Conservation Overlay District (VCOD) layer is a zoning overlay district of the Revised 1993 Loudoun County Zoning Ordinance (Zoning Ordinance) and identifies thirteen small villages and hamlets outside of the boundaries of Loudoun County’s incorporated towns and planned residential communities that contain unique, scenic and historic characteristics that should be maintained and protected. The VCOD is a component of the Official Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Supervisors on January 6, 2003, effective on January 7, 2003, and the Zoning Ordinance further amended on December 6, 2006, and is shown on the Official Loudoun County, VA Zoning Map. The VCOD layer is owned and maintained by Loudoun County, Virginia Department of Building and Development.Purpose:The VCOD is established to recognize the development patterns existing in traditional villages, considered to be valuable heritage resources, and to encourage the retention and reinforcement of the pattern, character and visual identity of the individual village. The data are used extensively for taxation, subdivision review, permitting, and planning. Although the feature class represents the VCOD, a determination should be requested from the Zoning Administrator to verify whether a particular property is located within the VCOD.

    Description

There is a lack of a psychometric tool for generational identity. We have conducted two studies involving Bangladeshi older adults who have witnessed the Bangladesh liberation war in 1971 to develop a new generational identity scale (GIS). The first study (N = 300) prepared an initial pool of 31 items and got them vetted by expert judges, which retained 21 items to form the provisional GIS (GIS-21). An exploratory factor analysis on GIS-21 excluded eight items and offered a two-factor solution: (i) identification with the generation and (ii) awareness of the generational importance. The second study (N = 176) ran a confirmatory factor analysis on the resulting GIS-13 and dropped another item to achieve a better model fit (SRMR =0.058, GFI = 0.986, AGFI = 0.980, and NFI = 0.980). The remaining 12-item GIS (GIS-12) showed excellent reliability (Mc Donald's omega = 0.898) and satisfactory temporal stability (ICC = 0.59, 95% CI = 0.27–0.77) over a 4-week interval. The scale's moderate correlation with another measure for generational identification demonstrates its convergent validity. Participants' transitional experience caused by the Bangladesh independence war in 1971 was also moderately correlated with the GIS-12 supporting further theoretical convergence of this scale. We recommend that researchers could use this scale on different populations and age groups upon appropriate validation.

There is a lack of a psychometric tool for generational identity. We have conducted two studies involving senior Bangladeshi nationals, containing both independence war veterans and non-veterans, to develop a new generational identity scale (GIS). The remaining 11-item GIS (GIS-11) showed excellent reliability (mean inter-item correlation coefficient =.44, Cronbach’s alpha =.89) and satisfactory temporal stability (ICC =.61, 95% CI =0.30 to 0.78) over a 4-week interval. The Bangladesh independence war veterans scored higher on GIS-11 than did the non-veterans, indicating the scale’s diagnostic validity. The scale’s moderate correlation (rs=.63, p

The 2024 Report contains an analysis of more than 4.5 million stops by 535 California law enforcement agencies conducted in 2022 under the Racial and Identity Profiling Act (“RIPA”).Link to RIPA Report Data 2024 (Search for Fairfield, Statuatory Mandatory Tables the tables' description can be downloaded from this link. The 2024 Report closely examines a wide range of issue areas related to racial and identity profiling, providing context and research to deepen stakeholders’ understanding of the stop data collected under RIPA. Some highlights of the 2024 Report include an examination of youth interactions with law enforcement, both in and outside of school; exploring the effect police unions may have on law enforcement accountability; protocols and guidelines for law enforcement training on racial and identity profiling; and continuing the Board’s examination of pretextual stops, analyzing the results of stops where field interview cards are completed and stops resulting in a charge of resisting arrest. In the Executive Summary, the Board provides an overview of the 2024 Report. For ease of reference, there is a separate Recommendations and Best Practices section pulling out the Board’s recommendations and best practices from research. The Board encourages law enforcement agencies, policymakers, the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), community advocates, and individuals to use these recommendations and best practices as a platform for discussion and implementation of reforms that will improve public safety in California. The Board especially recognizes that the community is essential to any police reform and that agencies and government should include diverse community members to work in close partnership with them to improve police services in their communities and across California.

Respondents could choose one out of 19 tick-box response categories, including write-in response options.Comparability with 2011: Broadly comparable. The question about the ethnic group people feel they belong to is self-identified and is subjectively meaningful to the person answering the question. This means that how a person chooses to identify can change over time. We have included a new Roma category next to the Gypsy or Irish Traveller tick-box within the White category. We have also added a write-in option for those selecting African within the Black, Caribbean or Black British category. This means that a more specific ethnic background could be recorded. The WUI boundary was recently updated by the Tahoe Fire and Fuels Team (2016). This feature class was generated using that updated boundary and the most recent Wilderness Boundary to delineate areas of the Lake Tahoe Basin where Forest Management practices differ.
