ADA Ramp locations are accurate to the degree of an iPad's internal GPS. The attributes have been updated to support modern ESRI mobile applications and to streamline the flow of data between field and office staff. The workflow involved in maintaining and inspecting the Ramps is in a state of change and hasn't been finalized yet, which is why the original hosted feature layer is named " * prototype ". As it is finalized those changes will automatically reflect in this view layer as will future inspections. For questions please email the Lane County GIS team at lcgis@lanecountyor.gov

This dataset represents a single point-location for each recorded address in the LGDC region, to the unit-level.Address points were initially created in 1975-1976 as part of a rural re-addressing project which combined: newly digitized addresses, Lane County Assessment & Taxation owner name/address records, and Lane County Elections voter addresses. The dataset was developed to replace the old rural route addressing system used for postal service in Lane County until 1974.

Land located within the Eugene Urban Growth Area is zoned to provide areas suitable for certain types of development. Each zone provides a set of regulations governing the uses, building setbacks, height, and other development standards. Property may also be subject to an overlay zone. The overlay establishes additional regulations beyond the base zone to address specific community objectives, such as protection of environmentally sensitive areas or improving the efficient use of public transit. In some cases, overlays may provide an exception to the standard regulations for the base zone.Base Zones: Land located within the Eugene Urban Growth Boundary is zoned to provide areas suitable for certain types of development. Each base zone provides a set of regulations governing the uses, building setbacks, building height and other development features.Overlay Zones: Property may also be subject to one or more overlay zones. Overlay zones establish additional regulations beyond the base zone to address specific community objectives, such as protection of environmentally sensitive areas or improving the efficient use of public transit.Special Area Zones: A special area zone is a type of base zone that is applied to a specific area of the city that possesses distinctive buildings or natural features that have special significance for the community and requires special consideration or implementation of conservation and development measures that can not be achieved through application of the standard base zones.Special Area Zone Subareas: Some special area zones are further divided into subareas, such as commercial or single-family residential. This layer is a surficial engineering geology map, for use in the shallow landslide susceptibility model (per methods explained in DOGAMI's Special Paper 45). This map is an interpretation from geologic mapping derived the compilation Oregon Geologic Data Compilation 6 (OGDC 6), based dominantly on the geologic mapping from McClaughry and others, 2010. We also used the soil survey for Lane County, in order to best understand what materials are present in the top 15 feet of material at the surface (USDA, 1987).
