EXERCISE ONLYThis web map serves as the Public Information Map for Flood Hazards in Pima County, Arizona. It is compiled of three main layers:Enriched Special Flood Hazard Area layer from FEMA (http://landscape1.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/USA_Flood_Risk/MapServer)Current Weather Conditions feed from ESRI (https://livefeeds.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/LiveFeeds/NOAA_METAR_current_wind_speed_direction/MapServer)World Traffic from ESRI (https://traffic.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/Traffic/MapServer)These layers allow for the public to have an understanding of both the flooding hazards, but also the traffic conditions associated with severe weather and flash flooding.

To achieve the goals outlined in the strategic plan, the Program first must understand the current geospatial capabilities of each 9-1-1 system by individual jurisdiction. To this end, the Program hired Mission Critical Partners, LLC (MCP) to evaluate the readiness of GIS staff and data in each 9-1-1 system to support the migration to and continuing operation of NG9-1-1. The Program specifically seeks a report on the weaknesses and strengths of each 9-1-1 system throughout Arizona to frame a statewide picture for legislators as the Program seeks to fill the full-time positions necessary to fully support GIS capabilities for efficient and effective NG9-1-1 call routing.

Building outlines. Data is a composite between outlines generated by Pictometry corporation and an internal Pima County effort. Layer extent was determined by the union of the FEMA SFHA, Riparian areas and local floodplains excluding most incorporated areas. Outlines were created based on Pictometry 2010, PAG 2008 and PAG 2005 using the best quality imagery available for any area. Known Errors/Qualifications: Outlines represent roofs of building structures as they appear in ortho photos. Building ground footprint may not match the location, size or shape of the features.
