    The National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution (NHDplus High Resolution) maps the lakes, ponds, streams, rivers and other surface waters of the United States. Created by the US Geological Survey, NHDPlus High Resolution provides mean annual flow and velocity estimates for rivers and streams. Additional attributes provide connections between features facilitating complicated analyses.For more information on the NHDPlus High Resolution dataset see the User’s Guide for the National Hydrography Dataset Plus (NHDPlus) High Resolution.Dataset SummaryPhenomenon Mapped: Surface waters and related features of the United States and associated territoriesGeographic Extent: The Contiguous United States, Hawaii, portions of Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Northern Marianas Islands, and American SamoaProjection: Web Mercator Auxiliary Sphere Visible Scale: Visible at all scales but layer draws best at scales larger than 1:1,000,000Source: USGSUpdate Frequency: AnnualPublication Date: July 2022This layer was symbolized in the ArcGIS Map Viewer and while the features will draw in the Classic Map Viewer the advanced symbology will not. Prior to publication, the network and non-network flowline feature classes were combined into a single flowline layer. Similarly, the Area and Waterbody feature classes were merged under a single schema.Attribute fields were added to the flowline and waterbody layers to simplify symbology and enhance the layer's pop-ups. Fields added include Pop-up Title, Pop-up Subtitle, Esri Symbology (waterbodies only), and Feature Code Description. All other attributes are from the original dataset. No data values -9999 and -9998 were converted to Null values.What can you do with this layer?Feature layers work throughout the ArcGIS system. Generally your work flow with feature layers will begin in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Pro. The existing New Jersey Statewide Address Point data last published in 2016 has been transformed in the NENA data model to create this new address point data.The initial address points were processed from statewide parcel records joined with the statewide Tax Assessor's (MOD-IV) database in 2015. Address points supplied by Monmouth County, Sussex County, Morris County and Montgomery Township in Somerset County were incorporated into the statewide address points using customized Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) procedures.The previous version of the address points was loaded into New Jersey's version of the NENA NG9-1-1 data model using Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) procedures created with Esri's Data Interoperability Extension.     Soil map units are the basic geographic unit of the Soil Survey Geographic Database (SSURGO). The SSURGO dataset is a compilation of soils information collected over the last century by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Map units delineate the extent of different soils. Data for each map unit contains descriptions of the soil’s components, productivity, unique properties, and suitability interpretations. Each soil type has a unique combination of physical, chemical, nutrient and moisture properties. Soil type has ramifications for engineering and construction activities, natural hazards such as landslides, agricultural productivity, the distribution of native plant and animal life and hydrologic and other physical processes. Soil types in the context of climate and terrain can be used as a general indicator of engineering constraints, agriculture suitability, biological productivity and the natural distribution of plants and animals. Data from thegSSURGO databasewas used to create this layer. The data subsequently have been updated and corrected.The road centerlines no longer contain any linear referencing information.     This map shows the relationship between Federal payments toward conservation and wetlands and payments toward producers not including conservation/wetlands. The data is produced by the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (USDA).Areas in yellow show where there are high amounts of Federal payments toward Conservation in comparison to other types, whereas areas in light blue have a higher amount of Federal payments toward all other agriculture in comparison to Conservation. Areas in black have an overall high amount of both types of payments. The map uses size to emphasize which counties received the overall largest receipts in US dollars.In 2017, the average farm received an average of $13,906, and conservation/wetland programs received and average of $6,980. These are the central colors of the map in order to anchor the map around the national figure. Areas with a pattern above or below the national average are highlighted by the colors along the edges of the legend (mentioned in the previous paragraph). About the data and source:The Census of Agriculture, produced by the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (USDA), provides a complete count of America's farms, ranches and the people who grow our food.     Statewide download (FGDB)Users can also download smaller geographic areas of this feature service in ArcGIS Pro using the Copy Features geoprocessing tool.The statewide composite of parcels (cadastral) data for New Jersey is made available here in Web Mercator projection (3857.) It was developed during the Parcels Normalization Project in 2008-2014 by the NJ Office of Information Technology, Office of GIS (NJOGIS). The normalized parcels data are compatible with the New Jersey Department of Treasury MOD-IV system currently used by Tax Assessors and selected attributes from that system have been joined with the parcels in this dataset.This composite of parcels data serves as one of New Jersey's framework GIS data sets. Stewardship and maintenance of the data will continue to be the purview of county and municipal governments, but the statewide composite will be maintained by NJOGIS.Parcel attributes were normalized to a standard structure, specified in the NJ GIS Parcel Mapping Standard, to store parcel information and provide a PIN (parcel identification number) field that can be used to match records with suitably-processed property tax data. The standard is available for viewing and download at https://geoapps.nj.gov/njgin/parcel/NJGIS_ParcelMappingStandardv3.2.pdf. The statewide property tax table, including all MOD-IV records, is available as a separate download "MOD-IV Tax List Search Plus Database of New Jersey." Users who need only the parcel boundaries with limited attributes may obtain those from a separate download "Parcels Composite of New Jersey ". Also available separately are countywide parcels and tables of property ownership and tax information extracted from the NJ Division of Taxation database.The polygons delineated in this dataset do not represent legal boundaries and should not be used to provide a legal determination of land ownership.     This map used in this dashboard summarizes payments made to producers by the Federal government from the 2017 Census of Agriculture at the county level.It is consumed in a corresponding dashboard for quick statistics about the counties receiving the highest federal payments. The Census of Agriculture, produced by the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (USDA), provides a complete count of America's farms, ranches and the people who grow our food. The census is conducted every five years, most recently in 2017, and provides a in-depth look at the agricultural industry.The layer was produced from data downloaded using the USDA's QuickStats Application. The data was transformed using the Pivot Table tool in ArcGIS Pro and joined to the county boundary file provided by the USDA. The National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution (NHDplus High Resolution) maps the lakes, ponds, streams, rivers and other surface waters of the United States. Created by the US Geological Survey, NHDPlus High Resolution provides mean annual flow and velocity estimates for rivers and streams. Additional attributes provide connections between features facilitating complicated analyses.For more information on the NHDPlus High Resolution dataset see the User’s Guide for the National Hydrography Dataset Plus (NHDPlus) High Resolution.Dataset SummaryPhenomenon Mapped: Surface waters and related features of the United States and associated territoriesGeographic Extent: The Contiguous United States, Hawaii, portions of Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Northern Marianas Islands, and American SamoaProjection: Web Mercator Auxiliary Sphere Visible Scale: Visible at all scales but layer draws best at scales larger than 1:1,000,000Source: USGSUpdate Frequency: AnnualPublication Date: July 2022This layer was symbolized in the ArcGIS Map Viewer and while the features will draw in the Classic Map Viewer the advanced symbology will not. Prior to publication, the network and non-network flowline feature classes were combined into a single flowline layer. Similarly, the Area and Waterbody feature classes were merged under a single schema.Attribute fields were added to the flowline and waterbody layers to simplify symbology and enhance the layer's pop-ups. Fields added include Pop-up Title, Pop-up Subtitle, Esri Symbology (waterbodies only), and Feature Code Description. All other attributes are from the original dataset. No data values -9999 and -9998 were converted to Null values.What can you do with this layer?Feature layers work throughout the ArcGIS system. Generally your work flow with feature layers will begin in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Pro. Below are just a few of the things you can do with a feature service in Online and Pro.ArcGIS OnlineAdd this layer to a map in the map viewer. The layer or a map containing it can be used in an application. Change the layer’s transparency and set its visibility rangeOpen the layer’s attribute table and make selections. Selections made in the map or table are reflected in the other. Center on selection allows you to zoom to features selected in the map or table and show selected records allows you to view the selected records in the table.Apply filters. For example you can set a filter to show larger streams and rivers using the mean annual flow attribute or the stream order attribute.Change the layer’s style and symbologyAdd labels and set their propertiesCustomize the pop-upUse as an input to the ArcGIS Online analysis tools. This layer works well as a reference layer with the trace downstream and watershed tools. The buffer tool can be used to draw protective boundaries around streams and the extract data tool can be used to create copies of portions of the data.ArcGIS ProAdd this layer to a 2d or 3d map.Use as an input to geoprocessing.
