    Description

Users can access this application in order to view permanently closed shellfish harvest areas, as well as areas that have been temporarily closed due to the impacts of rainfall and stormwater runoff or other causes of short-term contamination like wastewater spills. This mapping application is updated in real-time in conjunction with the release of written proclamations describing the boundaries of the temporarily closed shellfishing wates. Users can navigate throughout the coast to view which closures may be in place, or can utilize the location search tool in the top right-hand corner of the screen in order to navigate directly to an area of interest.
