    Public view of the parcel layer. This view is limited to only the attributes that can be seen by the general public.The data table includes the following fields: Shape Type (Shape), Shape.STArea() (Shape_Area), Shape.STLength() (Shape_Area), Name (APN), Created By Record (CreatedbyR), Retired By Record (RetiredbyR), Stated Area, Stated Area Unit (StatedAr_1), Calculated Area (Calculated), Misclose Ratio (MiscloseRa), Misclose Distance (MiscloseDi), Is Seed (IsSeed), Created By (created_us), Created Date (created_da), Modified By (last_edite), Modified Date (last_edi_1), Validation Status (VALIDATION), APN Dashed (APN_Dashed), Map Page (Map_Page), Municipality (Municipali), FloorOrder, HideThere are approximately 51,300 real property parcels in Napa County. Parcels delineate the approximate boundaries of property ownership as described in Napa County deeds, filed maps, and other source documents. GIS parcel boundaries are maintained by the Information Technology Services GIS team. Assessor Parcel Maps are created and maintained by the Assessor Division Mapping Section. Each parcel has an Assessor Parcel Number (APN) that is its unique identifier. The APN is the link to various Napa County databases containing information such as owner name, situs address, property value, land use, zoning, flood data, and other related information. Data for this map service is sourced from the Napa County Parcels dataset which is updated nightly with any recent changes made by the mapping team. There may at times be a delay between when a document is recorded and when the new parcel boundary configuration and corresponding information is available in the online GIS parcel viewer.From 1850 to early 1900s assessor staff wrote the name of the property owner and the property value on map pages. They began using larger maps, called “tank maps” because of the large steel cabinet they were kept in, organized by school district (before unification) on which names and values were written. In the 1920s, the assessor kept large books of maps by road district on which names were written. In the 1950s, most county assessors contracted with the State Board of Equalization for board staff to draw standardized 11x17 inch maps following the provisions of Assessor Handbook 215. Maps were originally drawn on linen. By the 1980’s Assessor maps were being drawn on mylar rather than linen. In the early 1990s Napa County transitioned from drawing on mylar to creating maps in AutoCAD. When GIS arrived in Napa County in the mid-1990s, the AutoCAD images were copied over into the GIS parcel layer. Sidwell, an independent consultant, was then contracted by the Assessor’s Office to convert these APN files into the current seamless ArcGIS parcel fabric for the entire County. Beginning with the 2024-2025 assessment roll, the maps are being drawn directly in the parcel fabric layer.Parcels in the GIS parcel fabric are drawn according to the legal description using coordinate geometry (COGO) drawing tools and various reference data such as Public Lands Survey section boundaries and road centerlines. The legal descriptions are not defined by the GIS parcel fabric. Any changes made in the GIS parcel fabric via official records, filed maps, and other source documents are uploaded overnight. There is always at least a 6-month delay between when a document is recorded and when the new parcel configuration and corresponding information is available in the online parcel viewer for search or download.Parcel boundary accuracy can vary significantly, with errors ranging from a few feet to several hundred feet. These distortions are caused by several factors such as: the map projection - the error derived when a spherical coordinate system model is projected into a planar coordinate system using the local projected coordinate system; and the ground to grid conversion - the distortion between ground survey measurements and the virtual grid measurements. The aim of the parcel fabric is to construct a visual interpretation that is adequate for basic geographic understanding. This digital data is intended for illustration and demonstration purposes only and is not considered a legal resource, nor legally authoritative.

    MassGIS' standardized ("Level 3") property tax parcel mapping data set was developed through a competitive procurement funded by MassGIS. Each community in the Commonwealth was bid on by one or more vendors and the unit of work awarded was a city or town. The specification for this work was Level 3 of the MassGIS Digital Parcel Standard. Standardization of assessor parcel mapping is complete for all 351 Massachusetts' cities and towns. MassGIS is now incorporating updates from municipalities into the database. This hosted feature layer is exported from MassGIS' internal database of the feature class GISDATA.L3_TAXPAR_POLY_ASSESS, which links L3_TAXPAR_POLY and L3_ASSESS. The export includes the expression: (POLY_TYPE IN ('FEE', 'TAX')) OR (POLY_TYPE IN ('ROW', 'PRIV_ROW', 'RAIL_ROW', 'WATER') AND PROP_ID IS NOT NULL) It contains several fields from GISDATA.L3_ASSESS and stacked polygons where multiple assessor records link to a parcel. It contains features that do not have an associated record in GISDATA.L3_ASSESS, except for rights of way and water bodies. ROWs and water bodies with a non-null PROP_ID are included. The data in this feature layer is used for the popups in the Massachusetts Interactive Property Map.     Description

    A complete, historic universe of Cook County parcels with attached geographic, governmental, and spatial data.

    When working with Parcel Index Numbers (PINs) make sure to zero-pad them to 14 digits. Some datasets may lose leading zeros for PINs when downloaded.

    Additional notes:

    • Non-taxing district data is attached via spatial join (st_contains) to each parcel's centroid.
    • Tax district data (school district, park district, municipality, etc.) are attached by a parcel's assigned tax code.
    • Centroids are based on Cook County parcel shapefiles.
    • Older properties may be missing coordinates and thus also missing attached spatial data (usually they are missing a parcel boundary in the shapefile).
    • Newer properties may be missing a mailing or property address, as they need to be assigned one by the postal service.
    • This dataset contains data for the current tax year, which may not yet be complete or final. Assessed values for any given year are subject to change until review and certification of values by the Cook County Board of Review, though there are a few rare circumstances where values may change for the current or past years after that.
    • Rowcount for a given year is final once the Assessor has certified the assessment roll all townships.
    • Data will be updated monthly.
    • Depending on the time of year, some third-party and internal data will be missing for the most recent year. Assessments mailed this year represent values from last year, so this isn't an issue. By the time the Data Department models values for this year, those data will have populated.
    • Current property class codes, their levels of assessment, and descriptions can be found on the Assessor's website. Note that class codes details can change across time.
    • Due to discrepancies between the systems used by the Assessor and Clerk's offices, tax_district_code is not currently up-to-date in this table.

    TheFlorida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions between March 15 to April 1, 2023. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries.The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed.     Update information can be found within the layer’s attributes and in a table on the Utah Parcel Data webpage under LIR Parcels.In Spring of 2016, the Land Information Records work group, an informal committee organized by the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget’s State Planning Coordinator, produced recommendations for expanding the sharing of GIS-based parcel information. Participants in the LIR work group included representatives from county, regional, and state government, including the Utah Association of Counties (County Assessors and County Recorders), Wasatch Front Regional Council, Mountainland and Bear River AOGs, Utah League of Cities and Towns, UDOT, DNR, AGRC, the Division of Emergency Management, Blue Stakes, economic developers, and academic researchers. The LIR work group’s recommendations set the stage for voluntary sharing of additional objective/quantitative parcel GIS data, primarily around tax assessment-related information. Specifically the recommendations document establishes objectives, principles (including the role of local and state government), data content items, expected users, and a general process for data aggregation and publishing. An important realization made by the group was that ‘parcel data’ or ‘parcel record’ products have a different meaning to different users and data stewards. The LIR group focused, specifically, on defining a data sharing recommendation around a tax year parcel GIS data product, aligned with the finalization of the property tax roll by County Assessors on May 22nd of each year. The LIR recommendations do not impact the periodic sharing of basic parcel GIS data (boundary, ID, address) from the County Recorders to AGRC per 63F-1-506 (3.b.vi). Both the tax year parcel and the basic parcel GIS layers are designed for general purpose uses, and are not substitutes for researching and obtaining the most current, legal land records information on file in County records. This document, below, proposes a schedule, guidelines, and process for assembling county parcel and assessment data into an annual, statewide tax parcel GIS layer. gis.utah.gov/data/sgid-cadastre/It is hoped that this new expanded parcel GIS layer will be put to immediate use supporting the best possible outcomes in public safety, economic development, transportation, planning, and the provision of public services. Another aim of the work group was to improve the usability of the data, through development of content guidelines and consistent metadata documentation, and the efficiency with which the data sharing is distributed.GIS Layer Boundary Geometry:GIS Format Data Files: Ideally, Tax Year Parcel data should be provided in a shapefile (please include the .shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj, and .xml component files) or file geodatabase format. An empty shapefile and file geodatabase schema are available for download at:At the request of a county, AGRC will provide technical assistance to counties to extract, transform, and load parcel and assessment information into the GIS layer format.Geographic Coverage: Tax year parcel polygons should cover the area of each county for which assessment information is created and digital parcels are available. Full coverage may not be available yet for each county. The county may provide parcels that have been adjusted to remove gaps and overlaps for administrative tax purposes or parcels that retain these expected discrepancies that take their source from the legally described boundary or the process of digital conversion. The diversity of topological approaches will be noted in the metadata.One Tax Parcel Record Per Unique Tax Notice: Some counties produce an annual tax year parcel GIS layer with one parcel polygon per tax notice. In some cases, adjacent parcel polygons that compose a single taxed property must be merged into a single polygon. This is the goal for the statewide layer but may not be possible in all counties. AGRC will provide technical support to counties, where needed, to merge GIS parcel boundaries into the best format to match with the annual assessment information.Standard Coordinate System: Parcels will be loaded into Utah’s statewide coordinate system, Universal Transverse Mercator coordinates (NAD83, Zone 12 North). Participants in the LIR work group included representatives from county, regional, and state government, including the Utah Association of Counties (County Assessors and County Recorders), Wasatch Front Regional Council, Mountainland and Bear River AOGs, Utah League of Cities and Towns, UDOT, DNR, AGRC, the Division of Emergency Management, Blue Stakes, economic developers, and academic researchers. The LIR work group’s recommendations set the stage for voluntary sharing of additional objective/quantitative parcel GIS data, primarily around tax assessment-related information. Specifically the recommendations document establishes objectives, principles (including the role of local and state government), data content items, expected users, and a general process for data aggregation and publishing. An important realization made by the group was that ‘parcel data’ or ‘parcel record’ products have a different meaning to different users and data stewards. The LIR group focused, specifically, on defining a data sharing recommendation around a tax year parcel GIS data product, aligned with the finalization of the property tax roll by County Assessors on May 22nd of each year. The LIR recommendations do not impact the periodic sharing of basic parcel GIS data (boundary, ID, address) from the County Recorders to AGRC per 63F-1-506 (3.b.vi). Both the tax year parcel and the basic parcel GIS layers are designed for general purpose uses, and are not substitutes for researching and obtaining the most current, legal land records information on file in County records.     Description

    The seamless, county-wide parcel layer was digitized from official Assessor Parcel (AP) Maps which were originally maintained on mylar sheets and/or maintained as individual Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawing files (e.g., DWG). The CRA office continues to maintain the official AP Maps in CAD drawings and Information Systems Department/Geographic Information Systems (ISD/GIS) staff apply updates from these maps to the seamless parcel base in the County’s Enterprise GIS. The seamless parcel layer is updated and published to the Internet on a monthly basis.The seamless parcel layer was developed from the source data using the general methodology outlined below. The mylar sheets were scanned and saved to standard image file format (e.g., TIFF). The individual scanned maps or CAD drawing files were imported into GIS software and geo-referenced to their corresponding real-world locations using high resolution orthophotography as control. The standard approach was to rescale and rotate the scanned drawing (or CAD file) to match the general location on the orthophotograph. Then, appropriate control points were selected to register and rectify features on the scanned map (or CAD drawing file) to the orthophotography. In the process, features in the scanned map (or CAD drawing file) were transformed to real-world coordinates, and line features were created using “heads-up digitizing” and stored in new GIS feature classes. Recommended industry best practices were followed to minimize root mean square (RMS) error in the transformation of the data, and to ensure the integrity of the overall pattern of each AP map relative to neighboring pages. Where available Coordinate Geometry (COGO) & survey data, tied to global positioning systems (GPS) coordinates, were also referenced and input to improve the fit and absolute location of each page. The vector lines were then assembled into a polygon features, with each polygon being assigned a unique identifier, the Assessor Parcel Number (APN). The APN field in the parcel table was joined to the corresponding APN field in the assessor property characteristics table extracted from the MPTS database to create the final parcel layer. The result is a seamless parcel land base, each parcel polygon coded with a unique APN, assembled from approximately 6,000 individual map page of varying scale and accuracy, but ensuring the correct topology of each feature within the whole (i.e., no gaps or overlaps). The accuracy and quality of the parcels varies depending on the source. See the fields RANK and DESCRIPTION fields below for information on the fit assessment for each source page. These data should be used only for general reference and planning purposes. It is important to note that while these data were generated from authoritative public records, and checked for quality assurance, they do not provide survey-quality spatial accuracy and should NOT be used to interpret the true location of individual property boundary lines. Please contact the Sonoma County CRA and/or a licensed land surveyor before making a business decision that involves official boundary descriptions.

    This municipal tax parcel map service contains data for all 43 municipalities in Westchester County. The parcel data in the service are provided by each municipality (attributes may be different from municipality to municipality). The data made available in this service is for general information and planning purposes only, and should not be relied upon as a sole informational source.     Publication Date: March 2025 2023-2024 Parcel Data. Updated annually, or as needed. The data can be downloaded here: https://gis.ny.gov/parcels#data-download. This feature service has two layers: 1) NYS Tax Parcels Public, and 2) NYS Tax Parcels Public Footprint which contains polygons representing counties for which tax parcel polygons are available in the NYS Tax Parcels Public layer. County footprint polygons display when zoomed out beyond 1:37,050-scale. Tax parcel polygons display when zoomed in below 1:37,051-scale. The NYS Tax Parcels Public layer contains 2023-2024 parcel data only for NY State counties which gave NYS ITS Geospatial Services permission to share this data with the public. Work to obtain parcel data from additional counties, as well as permission to share the data, is ongoing. To date, 36 counties have provided Geospatial Services permission to share their parcel data with the public. Parcel data for counties which do not allow Geospatial Services to redistribute their data must be obtained directly from those counties. Geospatial Services' goal is to eventually include parcel data for all counties in New York State. Parcel geometry was incorporated as received from County Real Property Departments. No attempt was made to edge-match parcels along adjacent counties. County attribute values were populated using 2023-2024 Assessment Roll tabular data the NYS ITS Geospatial Services obtained from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance’s Office of Real Property Tax Services (ORPTS). Tabular assessment data was joined to the county provided parcel geometry using the SWIS & SBL or SWIS & PRINT KEY unique identifier for each parcel. Detailed information about assessment attributes can be found in the ORPTS Assessor’s Manuals available here: https://www.tax.ny.gov/research/property/assess/manuals/assersmanual.htm. New York City data comes from NYC MapPluto which can be found here: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/planning/data-maps/open-data/dwn-pluto-mappluto.page. Thanks to the following counties that specifically authorized Geospatial Services to share their GIS tax parcel data with the public: Albany, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Cortland, Erie, Genesee, Greene, Hamilton, Lewis, Livingston, Montgomery, NYC- Bronx, NYC- Kings (Brooklyn), NYC- New York (Manhattan), NYC- Queens, NYC- Richmond (Staten Island), Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Orange, Oswego, Otsego, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Schuyler, St Lawrence, Steuben, Suffolk, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins, Ulster, Warren, Wayne, and Westchester. Geometry accuracy varies by contributing county. This map service is available to the public. The State of New York, acting through the New York State Office of Information Technology Services, makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to the use of or reliance on the Data provided. The User accepts the Data provided “as is” with no guarantees that it is error free, complete, accurate, current or fit for any particular purpose and assumes all risks associated with its use. The State disclaims any responsibility or legal liability to Users for damages of any kind, relating to the providing of the Data or the use of it. Users should be aware that temporal changes may have occurred since this Data was created.
