    Description

    The aim of the research was to identify the influential factors and their effects on construction workers’ deep and surface safety compliance, respectively. The factors included perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, safety motivation, management commitment to safety, situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and safety communication.
    This research adopted the survey approach via online questionnaire to collect self-reported responses from construction workers in Australia. As a result, a total of 239 valid responses were collected.

    Report on the current food safety related permits in Brisbane City Council.

    All food businesses receive an Eat Safe food safety star rating of either no star, two, three, four or five stars at the end of a food safety audit conducted by an authorised Brisbane City Council officer.

    Businesses that demonstrate good levels of food safety will receive three or more stars and can choose to display their food safety star rating onsite and online. Trading details for every food business in Brisbane (name, location, phone number and licence category) are listed on the Food Safety Star Rating Search.

Retailers with unknown locations were seen as the most unsafe shopping channel, with around 294 respondents viewing such retailers as very unsafe.

    Convenience was the topmost driver for making online purchases among Australia's digital shoppers in the 12 months to July 2024, according to a 2024 survey, with around ** percent of respondents making online purchases during the survey period for this reason. Other leading reasons why Australian consumers bought products online included lower prices, discounts, and free delivery, at respectively ** percent, ** percent, and ** percent of surveyed online shoppers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Australian consumers also turned to online shopping for safety reasons and due to the widespread closure of brick-and-mortar stores.
