    Between 1980 and 2021, the mean annual increase of the economically active population in Argentina was higher among women than men. The growth rate of economically active women peaked in 1997, at 3.41 percent. However, it started contracting at the late 1990s and, by 2033, it is expected to equate the growth rate of men. After that year, the mean annual increase of the economically active population will be larger in the case of men.
