The largest age groups among Berlin’s residential population were aged 25-39 and 40-59 years. The latter was actually the most represented age group in the German capital. The age group with the least number of residents were babies aged younger than one year. Slowly growing population Berlin’s residential population has been growing in recent years, though at a slow pace.
