The Patent Claims Research Dataset contain detailed information on claims from U.S. patents granted between 1976 and 2014 and U.S. patent applications published between 2001 and 2014. The dataset is derived from the Patent Application Publication Full-Text and Patent Grant Full Text files, available at https://bulkdata.uspto.gov/, to which the Office of Chief Economist (OCE) applied a Python algorithm to identify individual claims as well as the dependency relationship between claims. From the parsed claims text, OCE created six data files containing individually-parsed claims, claim-level statistics, and document-level statistics, including newly-developed measures of patent scope.

    Description

ISO 3166-1 (Codes for the representation of names of countries and their subdivisions – Part 1: Country codes) is a standard defining codes for the names of countries, dependent territories, and special areas of geographical interest. It is the first part of the ISO 3166 standard published by the International Organization for Standardization. It defines three sets of country codes: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 – two-letter country codes which are the most widely used of the three[citation needed], and used most prominently for the Internet's country code top-level domains (with a few exceptions). ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 – three-letter country codes which allow a better visual association between the codes and the country names than the alpha-2 codes. ISO 3166-1 numeric – three-digit country codes which are identical to those developed and maintained by the United Nations Statistics Division, with the advantage of script (writing system) independence, and hence useful for people or systems using non-Latin scripts. This dataset contains country names and their alpha-2 and alpha-3 encodings.Learn more

    Description

The Library of Integrated Network-Based Cellular Signatures (LINCS) Program is a national research consortium funded by the NIH to generate a diverse and extensive reference library of cell-based perturbation-response signatures, along with novel data analytics tools to improve our understanding of human diseases at the systems level. The LINCS project helps to gain a more detailed understanding of cell pathways and aids efforts to develop therapies that might restore perturbed pathways and networks to their normal states by generating and providing public data that indicate how cells respond to various molecular, genetic, and environmental stressors. The LINCS Data Portal , contains details about assays, cell types, perturbagens, and datasets that are part of the library, as well as links to the consortium sites, raw data, processing pipelines, and data citations. LINCS is an NIH Common Fund project. The Data Coordination and Integration Center (DCIC,grant number: U54HL127624), is awarded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) through funds provided by the trans-NIH LINCS project and the trans-NIH Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K) initiative.
