As of August 2015, the BOOST team has collected and processed detailed government expenditure data from more than a dozen countries across the Europe and Central Asia region, creating easy-to-use databases that have been employed by World Bank researchers on a variety of projects. In Armenia, the BOOST government expenditure database has been constructed using the data available on Armenia's Ministry of Finance's website. The resulting BOOST dataset follows the national fiscal reporting methodology and includes information on the approved, revised and actual budgets broken down by spending units, economic and functional classification.
This version of the Armenia BOOST (v1.7) covers total government spending (including social insurance expenditures) for years 2006-2014 and for all sectors of the economy.
The BOOST covers the entire country of Armenia.
Each observation corresponds to expenditure on a specific budgetary line-item, as defined in the national budget classification system.
Administrative records data [adm]
Other [oth]
This version of the Armenia BOOST has one administrative level/variable, 4 levels/variables in the economic classification, and 3 levels/variables in the functional classification.
Additional comments: 1. The economic classification is GFS 2001-compatible; 2. The functional classification is COFOG-compatible; 3. The in-kind inputs from donor-funded projects are not captured by the Armenia BOOST and represent less than 1% of total expenditure; 4. Yerevan Municipality expenditures are not listed separately for 2010-2014, but may be recorded in the Ministry of Territorial Administration’s budget; 5. The breakdown by source of funds is not available; 6. Since most personnel expenditures are recorded under "4200 Acquisition of services and goods", which are reflected in "Non-personnel recurrent" costs (expenditure type variable), "Personnel" costs are substantially underestimated and "Non-personnel recurrent" costs overestimated by the same amount for the period 2006-2014; 7. The break-down of spending by programs is available only for the period of 2010-2014; 8. The general government budget is available only for the period of 2010-2014, either by economic or functional classification.

The development and deployment of vaccines have played a critical role in the control and management of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although homologous vaccination regimens (i.e. vaccinations where individuals received both prime and boost from the same commercial source) were widely administered, many recent studies have shown improved protection from mix-and-match heterologous prime-boost strategies. While most ongoing studies or clinical trials only focus on single or a limited number of heterologous prime-boost regimens, the general landscape of heterologous boosting is not well established. To better study this, the OpenData Portal (ODP) team at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) is building an open database for heterologous boost data which actively tracks the clinically tested and varied heterologous vaccination strategies. Preprints and peer-reviewed publications were curated to aggregate in vitro activity data and metadata pertaining to homologous and heterologous vaccine regimens. This database will allow users to investigate the reported in vitro effectiveness of heterologous boosters compared to corresponding homologous boosters. Our efforts to establish the open heterologous boost database aims to provide a high-level overview of current heterologous boosting studies and contribute to the improvement of vaccination strategies for COVID-19 and other pathogens of pandemic potential in the future.
