    Description

This layer is derived from the Common Ownership Lots and represents property transactions as they’ve occurred since the implementation of the Vector Property Mapping program in September 2006. A property transaction entails new geometry (split/combination of Lot(s) or property type conversion (from Air Rights, Record, or Tax Lots to Condo lots). The layer contains locations and attributes of archived features (inactive lots – dead lots) and corresponds with Office of Tax and Revenue's Public Extract files (ITSPE). It occurs weekly for the current calendar year and geometry updated when a transaction occurs.

    Description

This service depicts National Park Service tract and boundary data that was created by the Land Resources Division. NPS Director's Order #25 states: "Land status maps will be prepared to identify the ownership of the lands within the authorized boundaries of the park unit. These maps, showing ownership and acreage, are the 'official record' of the acreage of Federal and non-federal lands within the park boundaries. While these maps are the official record of the lands and acreage within the unit's authorized boundaries, they are not of survey quality and not intended to be used for survey purposes." As such this data is intended for use as a tool for GIS analysis. It is in no way intended for engineering or legal purposes. The data accuracy is checked against best available sources which may be dated and vary by location. NPS assumes no liability for use of this data. The boundary polygons represent the current legislated boundary of a given NPS unit. NPS does not necessarily have full fee ownership or hold another interest (easement, right of way, etc...) in all parcels contained within this boundary. Equivalently NPS may own or have an interest in parcels outside the legislated boundary of a given unit. In order to obtain complete information about current NPS interests both inside and outside a unit’s legislated boundary tract level polygons are also created by NPS Land Resources Division and should be used in conjunction with this boundary data. To download this data directly from the NPS go to https://irma.nps.gov Property ownership data is compiled from deeds, plats, surveys, and other source data. These are not engineering quality drawings and should be used for administrative purposes only. The National Park Service (NPS) shall not be held liable for improper or incorrect use of the data described and/or contained herein. These data and related graphics are not legal documents and are not intended to be used as such. The information contained in these data is dynamic and may change over time. The data are not better than the original sources from which they were derived. It is the responsibility of the data user to use the data appropriately and consistent within the limitations of geospatial data in general and these data in particular. The related graphics are intended to aid the data user in acquiring relevant data; it is not appropriate to use the related graphics as data. The National Park Service gives no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of these data. It is strongly recommended that these data are directly acquired from an NPS server and not indirectly through other sources which may have changed the data in some way. Although these data have been processed successfully on a computer system at the National Park Service, no warranty expressed or implied is made regarding the utility of the data on another system or for general or scientific purposes, nor shall the act of distribution constitute any such warranty. For large areas, like Washington State, download as a file geodatabase. Large data sets like this one, for the State of Washington, may exceed the limits for downloading as shape files, excel files, or KML files. For areas less than a county, you may use the map to zoom to your area and download as shape file, excel or KML, if that format is desired. The Boundary layer consists of lines representing the boundaries of Parcels and Legal Descriptions. (See the metadata for those two layers.) Boundary lines are the places that are surveyed in order to delimit the extent of Parcels and Legal Descriptions. The character and accuracy of Boundary locations is held in the attributes of the Points that are at the ends of Boundary lines. All the boundaries of Parcels and Legal Descriptions are covered by a Boundary line. Currently the Boundary layer has little functionality. The only distinction it makes is between upland boundaries and shorelines. In the future Boundary lines will have a richer set of attributes in order to accommodate cartographic needs to distinguish between types of boundaries.WA Boundaries Metadata

description: This data has been collected by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in New Mexico at the New Mexico State Office. The initial data source is the statewide Public Land Survey System (PLSS) coverage for the state of New Mexico, generated at the BLM New Mexico State Office. Additional data was onscreen-digitized from BLM Cadastral Survey Plats and Master Title Plats, or tablet-digitized from 1:24,000 paper maps. This revision reflects boundary adjustments made in the Albuquerque area to more accurately reflect boundaries as depicted on USGS 1:24,000 topographic maps. Note for Shapefiles: Shapefiles have been created from coverages using the "Export Coverage to Shapefile" function in ArcGIS 8.3. All occurrences of "#" and "-" in INFO item names are replaced with an underscore character. This includes COVER# and COVER-ID, which become "COVER_" and "COVER_ID". Additionally, the Shapefile format only allows 10 characters in item names, so long item names are truncated. To avoid duplicate names, the items are truncated and assigned consecutive numbers. For example, in a coverage called CITY_STREET the items "CITY_STREET#" and "CITY_STREET-ID" become "CITY_STRE" and "CITY_STR_1" .; abstract: This data has been collected by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in New Mexico at the New Mexico State Office. Description

This layer includes both Proclaimed Forest and National Grassland boundary areas. A Proclaimed Forest boundary is the boundary encompassing National Forest System land within a national forest that is set aside and reserved from the public domain by executive order or proclamation; congressional action is required to terminate a proclaimed boundary; if, at some point in time, no National Forest System land remains within the proclaimed boundary, then there is no legal significance to the proclaimed boundary, however, its legal status remains. National Grasslands are lands designated "National Grasslands" by the Secretary of Agriculture and permanently held by the Department of Agriculture for administration under Title III of the Bankhead-Jones Farm Tenant Act.Download via FSGeodata ClearinghouseThis record was taken from the USDA Enterprise Data Inventory that feeds into the https://data.gov catalog. Description

A feature class describing the spatial location of the administrative boundary of the lands managed by the Forest Supervisor's office. An area encompassing all the National Forest System lands administered by an administrative unit. The area encompasses private lands, other governmental agency lands, and may contain National Forest System lands within the proclaimed boundaries of another administrative unit. All National Forest System lands fall within one and only one Administrative Forest Area. This dataset is derived from the USFS Southwestern Region ALP (Automated Lands Program) data Project. This is one of six layers derived from ALP for the purpose of supplying data layers for recourse GIS analysis and data needs within the Forest Service. The six layers are Surface Ownership, Administrative Forest Boundary, District Boundary, Townships, Sections, and Wilderness. There were some gapes in the ALP data so a small portion of this dataset comes from CCF (Cartographic Feature Files) datasets and the USFS Southwestern Region Core Data Project. ALP data is developed from data sources of differing accuracy, scales, and reliability. Where available it is developed from GCDB (Geographic Coordinate Data Base) data. GCDB data is maintained by the Bureau of Land Management in their State Offices. GCDB data is mostly corner data. Not all corners and not all boundaries are available in GCDB so ALP also utilizes many other data sources like CFF data to derive its boundaries. GCDB data is in a constant state of change because land corners are always getting resurveyed. The GCDB data used in this dataset represents a snapshot in time at the time the GCDB dataset was published by the BLM and may not reflect the most current GCDB dataset available. The Forest Service makes no expressed or implied warranty with respect to the character, function, or capabilities of these data. These data are intended to be used for planning and analyses purposes only and are not legally binding with regards to title or location of National Forest System lands.

These data represent the land boundaries affiliated with JCOS. They are intended for public use for viewing in web applications and is available for download for various GIS uses. These features represent the boundaries of land that JCOS owns or manages. In some cases, JCOS parks are comprised of several parcels that have different ownership/management, but are considered part of a larger park. For example, South Table Mountain Park (STM) contains parcels owned by JCOS, the state, and has agreements with other entities. This is important to know if attempting to calculate acreage for a park. One must use ALL parcels of a respective park to calculate total acreage.Land Preservation Type: These are internal distinctions that help JCOS quickly determine ownership status. However, these distinctions are consolidated from a broader list in order to more easily display them on maps. For any questions regarding more specificity of ownership or management of a particular parcel, contact JCOS.Owner/Manager: A "|" in the Owner/Manager fields indicate joint ownership/management.Data Type: PolygonSensitive: NoSource: JCOSCreation Means: JCOS uses a variety of sources to create these data. These sources include, but are not limited to, survey data, coordinate geometry (COGO), legal descriptions, and subdivision plats.Original Projection: NAD_1983_StatePlane_Colorado_Central_FIPS_0502_Feet (WKID: 2232)ATTRIBUTION RELATES TO INDIVIDUAL FEATURES, not the overall associated property.

    Description

Digital line graph (DLG) data are digital representations of cartographic information. DLGs of map features are converted to digital form from maps and related sources. Intermediate-scale DLG data are derived from USGS 1:100,000-scale 30- by 60-minute quadrangle maps. If these maps are not available, Bureau of Land Management planimetric maps at a scale of 1:100,000 are used. Intermediate-scale DLGs are sold in five categories: (1) Public Land Survey System; (2) boundaries; (3) transportation; (4) hydrography; and (5) hypsography. All DLG data distributed by the USGS are DLG-Level 3 (DLG-3), which means the data contain a full range of attribute codes, have full topological structuring, and have passed certain quality-control checks.

The purpose of this featureclass is to allow national forest system boundary managers to query and report on the status of these boundaries for planning boundary management and maintenance work, and to provide this information to anyone else needing this information for analysis, querying, reporting, mapping. The lines should indicate the current status of the physical marked and posted lines in the field, and their maintenance status. Surface Management Agency (SMA) lines represent the surveyed boundary lines for which the Forest Service is responsible for marking and posting. These include the boundaries between NFS lands and non-NFS lands and the boundaries of congressionally designated areas such as National Wilderness. Metadata

    Description

NZ Parcel Boundaries Wireframe provides a map of land, road and other parcel boundaries, and is especially useful for displaying property boundaries.
This map service is for visualisation purposes only and is not intended for download. You can download the full parcels data from the NZ Parcels dataset.
This map service provides a dark outline and transparent fill, making it perfect for overlaying on our basemaps or any map service you choose.
Data for this map service is sourced from the NZ Parcels dataset which is updated weekly with authoritative data direct from LINZ’s Survey and Title system. Refer to the NZ Parcel layer for detailed metadata.
To simplify the visualisation of this data, the map service filters the data from the NZ Parcels layer to display parcels with a status of 'current' only.
This map service has been designed to be integrated into GIS, web and mobile applications via LINZ’s WMTS and XYZ tile services. View the Services tab to access these services.
See the LINZ website for service specifications and help using WMTS and XYZ tile services and more information about this service.

This dataset contains boundaries of individual parcels in Allegheny County, including the county block and lot number. As this is a very large dataset, you may wish to use our property information extractor (http://tools.wprdc.org/parcels-n-at/) to download filtered versions of this parcel dataset.

The most authoritative source for this data is now the PASDA page (https://www.pasda.psu.edu/uci/DataSummary.aspx?dataset=1214), which includes links to historical versions of the shapefile representations of this data.
