    Description

The Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2025. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. The dataset extends countywide and is attribute by Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) code.DOR reference with FIPS county codes and attribution definitions - https://fgio.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=ff7b985e139c4c7ba844500053e8e185If you discover the inadvertent release of a confidential record exempt from disclosure pursuant to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, public records laws, immediately notify the Department of Revenue at 850-717-6570 and your local Florida Property Appraisers’ Office. Description

This Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) LAS dataset is a topographic survey conducted for a coalition of GIS practitioners, including the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), Florida Water Management Districts, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District, and other state and federal agencies. The goal for this project is to use the LiDAR data as new elevation inputs for updated SLOSH data grids. The ultimate result is the update of the Regional Hurricane Evacuation Studies (RHES) for the state. The State of Florida Division of Emergency Management LiDAR Survey was collected under the guidance of a Professional Mapper/Surveyor. Data were collected for 1019 square miles (includes the FDEM extent and the buy up area) within Brevard County, Florida from Sept 15, 2007 to Jan 16, 2008. This is a classified lidar data set. The data are classified: 1 = Unclassified, 2 = Ground (Bare Earth), 7 = Noise and 9 = Water. The FDEM Baseline Specifications required a maximum post spacing of 4 feet, however, the PDS (Program and Data Solutions) team required a much higher point density of its subcontractors in order to increase the probability of penetrating dense foliage during the mandated summer acquisition; with nominal post spacing of 0.7 meters per flight line and 50% sidelap between flight lines, the average point density is 4 points per square meter.

    Description

A Geographic Information System (GIS) shapefile and summary tables of the extent of irrigated agricultural land-use are provided for eleven counties fully or partially within the St. Johns River Water Management District (full-county extents of: Brevard, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Indian River, Nassau, Osceola, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, and Volusia counties). These files were compiled through a cooperative project between the U.S. Geological Survey and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Office of Agricultural Water Policy. Information provided in the shapefile includes the location of irrigated lands that were verified during field surveying that started in November 2022 and concluded in August 2023. Field data collected were crop type, irrigation system type, and primary water source used. A map image of the shapefile is also provided. Previously published estimates of irrigation acreage for years since 1987 are included in summary tables.

This ArcGIS App contains a web map maintained by and provided and hosted by the Florida Natural Areas Inventory (FNAI) and consists of "Florida Conservations Lands" data only. The EEL feature data added to the web map originally came from Brevard County's Parks and Recreation Sitefinity web site data. The EEL data was filtered to retrieve "Sanctuary" and "Conservation Area" points for the EEL locations. This EEL data is static because we are no longer refreshing the SiteFinity data from the County website.

Historical imagery was obtained from University of Florida’s historical Imagery site, “Aerial Photography :Florida”located through searches within the link, http://ufdc.ufl.edu/aerials.Images were downloaded and saved as targets locally and georeferenced by GIS team members. The georeferencing was completed in either ArcGIS 10.3.1 or within ArcPro. The following were held as the standard for the georeferencing process, but there is no gauruntee these were upheld. The minimum number of control points was 10 points. The RMS value was kept at or below half the cell size of the image being georeferenced. The maximum individual residual was at or under twice the RMS. Again, these were the standards, but the accuracy is not gaurunteed. To QC for human error, once all counties for the given decade were georeferenced a comparison task was completed. This QC emphazied that this data is only a visual aid in that distances can be off 50 meters or more in some areas. These are mostly areas where there were limited reference features to georectify the original images. The smallest distance found was under 10 meters. Description

This GIS data set represents the state of Florida manatee protection areas as described in the Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Chapter 68C-22. This data set represents only the manatee protection areas for six counties (Brevard, Collier, Hillsborough, Lee, Sarasota, and Volusia) as published effective 6/24/2002. FWC-ISM staff originally digitized these areas using the 1:40,000 scale shoreline as the base shoreline, but also heads-up digitized corrections to the shoreline in ArcMap using the 1999 DOQQ's as a backdrop where 1:40,000 shoreline was not accurate enough. This process was completed in December 2004. These state of Florida manatee protection zones may differ from manatee protections zones created by City or County authorities and/or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
