TheFlorida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions between March 15 to April 1, 2023. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries.The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. This layer displays areas delegated to Broward County under part IV of Chapter 373, F.S. (ERP) per the agreement by the South Florida Water Management District, Broward County and the Department of Environmental Protection as defined by the 1998 document authorizing Broward County to perform permitting, compliance & enforcement responsibilities within all of Broward County with the exception of projects retained by the DEP, the SFWMD, and specific geographic areas. The agreement also delegates to Broward County the compliance and enforcement of Environmental Resource Permitting (ERP), Dredge and Fill (DF) & Management and Storage of Surface Waters (MSSW) permits previously issued by DEP/SFWMD, Formal Wetland determinations, and specific variances for mixing zones, turbidity & dissolved oxygen (D.O.).Boundaries were compiled and published in 2016.https://floridadep.gov/ogc/ogc/content/operating-agreements

This project will accomplish several tasks with a combination of field data collection, GIS mapping, and computer simulation. Our main objectives are designed to answer questions critical to restoration success and to provide the tools necessary for evaluation:

1. Develop monitoring methods necessary for evaluation of restoration success in alligator populations.
2. Understand the effects of decompartmentalization and other CERP (Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan) projects on restoration of alligator populations.
3. Identify and quantify the extent of aquatic refugia maintained by alligators throughout the system and develop relationships necessary to predict restoration of refugia.
4. Validate and update ecological models for use in prediction of the effects of restoration.

2020 Census P.L. 94-171 is the first detailed data release from the 2020 Decennial Census of Population and Housing. The web layer is based on an extract for Table H1 – Occupancy Status at the block group level geography of Broward County, Florida.
