This dataset contains the quantitative questionnaire designed for the validation of a serious game aimed at teaching business ethics, specifically focusing on informal business practices. It includes the questionnaire itself, a detailed codebook, and the dataset generated from the experimental application and validation of the game.
The questionnaire was developed based on a solid theoretical foundation, integrating the Technology Acceptance Model III (TAM III) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The dataset comprises responses from 118 accounting students from a Peruvian university who participated in the experimental phase of the game.
Additionally, this dataset includes the data validation process conducted to ensure its suitability for Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), using SmartPLS 4 software. Researchers and educators interested in serious games, business ethics education, or behavioral modeling will find this dataset valuable for further studies and applications.
Ideal for researchers in business ethics, educational technology, and behavioral studies.

ABSTRACT Objective: to investigate how scales for the concept of moral virtues are constructed and measured, in studies associated with business ethics and the tradition of virtue ethics. Methods: a systematic literature review was conducted to select empirical articles on moral virtues that design or apply scales. Based on search, selection, and analysis criteria, five databases were consulted, and 37 papers were selected, with subsequent analysis of the scales development and measurement procedure (items, sample, factor analysis) and emerging factors. Results: the study gathers scales of multiple moral virtues (19) and of specific virtues (18), showing limitations in the generation of items, and in the item-sample proportion in some scales, as well as theoretical contributions in leadership and relationship strengthening, making a theoretical and methodological discussion in the light of the assumptions of virtue ethics in the Aristotelian-Thomistic tradition. Conclusions: the article intends to contribute to a better understanding of moral virtues in management, by discussing the scales from the unity of virtues and the phronesis-moral virtues connection, with implications for human behavior and business ethics. Procedures are recommended for future qualitative and quantitative studies in new research contexts.

participant responses and demographic data
The objective of this research is to examine the impact of ethical leadership on the ethical decision-making beliefs of students in the field of business management, specifically focusing on the data collected from Bangladesh. The study covers a heterogeneous sample of 406 participants, including individuals of all genders and varying age ranges, mostly from Dhaka University and North South University. The results indicate that all participants had a reasonable level of acquaintance with ethical leadership, indicating a consistent level of awareness among them. The participants expressed mostly favorable perspectives towards ethical leadership, as a substantial majority agreed that ethical leaders demonstrate integrity and act as exemplars of ethical conduct within the professional setting. Regarding the matter of ethical decision-making within the realm of business management, a considerable agreement exists, emphasizing its indispensability for the long-term prosperity of a firm. However, divergent viewpoints are evident about its effects on reputation, customer trust, staff morale, organizational culture, and sustainable practices. The research further examined the observation of ethical leaders, experiences with ethical challenges, and the incorporation of formal ethical training into company management. The vast majority of participants said that they had seen the presence of ethical leaders and had faced ethical challenges, underscoring their widespread occurrence. Additionally, a significant majority expressed support for the incorporation of structured ethical training within the realm of corporate management. In spite of these findings, a statistical analysis using ordered logistic regression revealed that the associations between the independent variables (Ethical Decision-Making, Observation of Ethical Leaders, Encounter with Ethical Dilemmas, Belief in Formal Ethical Training) and the ordinal dependent variable did not reach statistical significance at conventional thresholds. This finding indicates that, based on the parameters of this study, the variables in question did not demonstrate a strong predictive relationship with the ordinal dependent variable. However, this research provides significant contributions to the understanding of how students in Bangladesh perceive ethical leadership and ethical decision-making. It highlights the significance of ethics education and the presence of ethical role models in the realm of business management.
In 2022, ** percent of adults in the United Kingdom (UK) said they would be prepared to pay more for goods and services from brands that respect and support human rights. In 2018, just under ** percent of survey respondents in the United States reported that they would be prompted to boycott a brand for irresponsible business actions. This was one of the most common ways, in which U.S. consumers would change their behavior in the name of ethical consumption. Online grocery shoppers in the U.S . While shopping for various goods online has become very common, online grocery shopping is a younger concept. In the United States, e-commerce sales numbers for food and beverages amounted to roughly ** million U.S. dollars in 2018, an amount that is expected to exceed ** million U.S. dollars by 2022. In May of 2018, over **** of U.S. consumers stated that they purchased food and beverage products on the web roughly a few times a year. The option to have groceries delivered to your door has had an impact on convenience store visits and purchases in the United States. This research sought to understand how volunteers in pro-life organizations cultivate virtues as they act to protect and help pregnant women and their children. Drawing on the perspective of neo-Aristotelian virtue ethics, we sought to access the interrelationship between moral virtues and the intellectual virtue of phronesis, or practical wisdom. Considering the presupposition of the unity of virtues, we addressed the perspective of pro-life volunteers from four organizations, two Brazilian and two Spanish, between the years 2018 and 2020. We conducted a multiple case study of qualitative characteristics in which volunteers are considered mini-cases. We collected data through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentary research, which were organized and coded using NVivo software. We performed open coding, besides starting from some previous categories. Through this process, we arrived at a data structure that allows us to show moral virtues such as justice, fortitude, and temperance, as well as some components of phronesis, related to judgment, decision, and action. The virtue of hope, in its moral dimension, also proved to be relevant to the daily actions of this volunteer. We gathered evidence of the relationship between temperance and phronesis and between hope and phronesis. We found that while the services provided and the cultural/legal context have differences between the cases, the virtues recognized as important for pro-life volunteering are similar. The data files that form this repository consist of the printed NVivo reports of the codes that resulted from the data analysis. They are numbered according to their connection to the concepts of moral virtues and phronesis in codes and subcodes. For example, "Codes 1.5 Temperance" is composed of subcodes 1.5.1 Acceptance, 1.5.2 Generosity, 1.5.3 Humility, and 1.5.4 Giving and teamwork.
