This dataset lists In-Center Hemodialysis Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (ICH CAHPS) survey data used by End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Incentive Program (QIP) to assess dialysis facility performance. The CAHPS survey is designed to measure the experiences of people receiving In-Center Hemodialysis (ICH) care from Medicare-certified dialysis facilities.

This data package contains information regarding CAHPS Comparison for Top Box Scores by Population and Adult Survey 2 Top Box Scores by Specialty and State. It provides data over CAHPS Practice Site Respondents by Region Ownership Mode and Provider, Health Plan Samples by State and HCAHPS of National and State Averages. It also contains dataset for Hospital Consumer Assessment of Providers and Patient Survey and Maryland’s Quality-Based Reimbursement (QBR) program for the fiscal year 2014.

In fall 2014, the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS) conducted a Nationwide Adult Medicaid (NAM) Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey of Medicaid enrollees to attain national and state-by-state measures of access, barriers to care, and experiences with care across delivery systems and major population subgroups. The survey interviewed a representative sample of adults ages 18 and older enrolled in Medicaid during October through December 2013. Additional information, including a data dictionary and analysis guidance and downloadable SAS files are available on the NAM CAHPS webpage. The data are updated and reported each quarter with data from the most recently completed quarter replacing the oldest quarter of data.

This dataset shows data submissions to the CAHPS Health Plan Survey Database by State from 2014 to 2016. The total number of respondents and plans by State are presented by population and health plan samples. It presents comparative results from the 2014 to 2016 Survey Respondents and Health Plan Samples by State from Adult Medicaid, Child Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Child and Medicare.
