The Agricultural Census aims in general to establish an updated, detailed and accurate holdings database to assist in planning and policy making at all levels related to the agricultural sector. It also aims in specific to provide data on the structure of agriculture, especially for small administrative and geographical units, rare items, and to enable detailed cross-tabulations, and to provide data that can be used as a benchmark for reconciliation of current agricultural statistics; and for setting estimates for subsequent years, in addition to provide frames for agricultural sampling surveys.

Post enumeration data processing phase was limited to final examination and cleaning of Agricultural Census databases, with documentation of examinations on all topics of Agricultural Census 2021 questions. Data processing phase focused on the following: 1. Checking the allowed transfers and values. 2. Checking the consistency between different questions of the census questionnaire based on logical relationships. 3. Checking on the basis of relations between certain questions so that a list of non-identical cases was extracted, reviewed and identified the source of the error case by case, and if such errors were immediately modified and corrected based on the source of the error3. Sampling error estimates

The sampling errors occur during the sample-based surveys but not in censuses as it is a comprehensive inventory of all agricultural holdings. These errors are easy to measure with the error point estimate also, since it is considered as an error in the sample.

Data appraisal

The non-sampling errors occur at any stage during the implementation of censuses and surveys. Therefore, it is necessary to provide for a data quality control system to ensure maximum accuracy. Many of these stages were used during the agriculture census planning and implementation where are-interview was carried out as follows:

• There are two models that were used to collect data and were uploaded to tablets. The first model is to enumerate households in all enumeration areas; in which the percentage of households that practiced an agricultural activity (according to the data of the Population, Housing and Establishments Census, 2017) is 5% or more, and the second model was used if the household had agricultural holdings.

• The enumerator visited Palestinian households in the enumeration areas in which the percentage of households that practiced agricultural activity (according to the data of the Population, Housing and Establishments Census, 2017) is less than 5%, so that the inventory model and the model prepared for agricultural holdings were if the tenure conditions were met.

This dataset contains model-based census tract level estimates for the PLACES 2021 release in GIS-friendly format. PLACES is the expansion of the original 500 Cities project and covers the entire United States—50 states and the District of Columbia (DC)—at county, place, census tract, and ZIP Code Tabulation Area (ZCTA) levels. It represents a first-of-its kind effort to release information uniformly on this large scale for local areas at 4 geographic levels. Estimates were provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Population Health, Epidemiology and Surveillance Branch. PLACES was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) in conjunction with the CDC Foundation. Data sources used to generate these model-based estimates include Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) 2019 or 2018 data, Census Bureau 2010 population estimates, and American Community Survey (ACS) 2015–2019 or 2014–2018 estimates. The 2021 release uses 2019 BRFSS data for 22 measures and 2018 BRFSS data for 7 measures (all teeth lost, dental visits, mammograms, cervical cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, core preventive services among older adults, and sleeping less than 7 hours a night). Seven measures are based on the 2018 BRFSS data because the relevant questions are only asked every other year in the BRFSS. These data can be joined with the census tract 2015 boundary file in a GIS system to produce maps for 29 measures at the census tract level. Area type

Census 2021 statistics are published for a number of different geographies. These can be large, for example the whole of England, or small, for example an output area (OA), the lowest level of geography for which statistics are produced.

For higher levels of geography, more detailed statistics can be produced. When a lower level of geography is used, such as output areas (which have a minimum of 100 persons), the statistics produced have less detail. This is to protect the confidentiality of people and ensure that individuals or their characteristics cannot be identified.

Lower tier local authorities

Lower tier local authorities provide a range of local services. There are 309 lower tier local authorities in England made up of 181 non-metropolitan districts, 59 unitary authorities, 36 metropolitan districts and 33 London boroughs (including City of London). In Wales there are 22 local authorities made up of 22 unitary authorities.

People aged 16 years and over are economically active if, between 15 March and 21 March 2021, they were:

It is a measure of whether or not a person was an active participant in the labour market during this period. Economically inactive are those aged 16 years and over who did not have a job between 15 March to 21 March 2021 and had not looked for work between 22 February to 21 March 2021 or could not start work within two weeks.

The census definition differs from International Labour Organization definition used on the Labour Force Survey, so estimates are not directly comparable.

This classification splits out full-time students from those who are not full-time students when they are employed or unemployed. It is recommended to sum these together to look at all of those in employment or unemployed, or to use the four category labour market classification, if you want to look at all those with a particular labour market status.

Sex

This is the sex recorded by the person completing the census. The options were “Female” and “Male”.

Employment history

Classifies people who were not in employment on Census Day into:

Census 2021 occupation data for people aged 16 years and older and in employment, by age and sex, is part of The occupations and industries most dependent on older and younger workers: March 2021, a release of results from the 2021 Census for England and Wales. Figures may differ slightly in future releases because of the impact of removing rounding and applying further statistical processes.

Some shorthand may be used in this workbook. Individual estimates suppressed with "[c]" relate to statistics based on a small number of respondents (< 10). Such values have been suppressed on quality grounds and to maintain confidentiality.

Armed forces personnel and defence employees are included in the census and recorded as usually resident using the standard definitions. The instructions given to personnel on how to respond to the census mean that this group cannot be reliably identified in census data on industry and occupation. Abstract

For decades, Mauritania has maintained a generous open door policy towards Malians fleeing conflict. The most recent large-scale influx of Malians occurred in 2012, and resulted in the creation of the Mbera camp, which today hosts around 75,000 refugees. Because the large-scale return of Malians is not yet a viable option, Mauritania has committed itself to a policy of inclusion. It thus requested support from the UNHCR-WFP Targeting Hub to facilitate the inclusion of Malian refugees in the national social registry. Accordingly, the two UN agencies assisted Mauritania’s National Social Registry to conduct a socio-economic census to identify the most vulnerable households to target for prioritized assistance. Around 14,000 households were interviewed.

The purpose of the census was to: - Collect socio-economic information on all refugees in Bassikounou to understand needs at household level - Categorize refugee households based on their degree of vulnerability to inform programmatic decisions and joint targeting approaches - Include all refugees in the national Social Registry - Identify and include the most vulnerable refugees in the national social protection scheme, Tekavoul

The Census of Juveniles in Residential Placement (CJRP), conducted every other year, asks juvenile residential custody facilities in the United States to describe all youth assigned a bed in the facility on a specified reference date. In 2021, the reference date was Wednesday, October 27 (the fourth Wednesday in October). Each record in the data provides information on a juvenile in a residential facility on the reference date, including information on placement (e.g. placing agency), the judicial process (e.g. court adjudication status), and demographics (e.g. age). Each record that provides information about a juvenile also includes information about institutional characteristics (e.g. facility type, use of locked doors or gates), treatment services, and population of the facility in which the juvenile was held. Therefore, CJRP data can be analyzed at the individual or facility level. The census was not sent to adult facilities or to facilities exclusively for drug or mental health treatment or for abused or neglected children. Some state and regional agencies provide CJRP data for more than one facility under their jurisdiction.

These are Census boundaries with water and/or coastlines clipped for cartographic purposes. For state and county boundaries, the water and coastlines are derived from the coastlines of the 500k TIGER Cartographic Boundary Shapefiles. The original AWATER and ALAND fields are still available as attributes within the data table (units are square meters). The States layer contains 52 records - all US states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico. The Counties (and equivalent) layer contains 3221 records - all counties and equivalent, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico municipios. See Areas Published. Percentages and derived counts, and associated margins of error, are calculated values (that can be identified by the "_calc_" stub in the field name), and abide by the specifications defined by the American Community Survey.Field alias names were created based on the Table Shells.Margin of error (MOE) values of -555555555 in the API (or "*****" (five asterisks) on data.census.gov) are displayed as 0 in this dataset. The estimates associated with these MOEs have been controlled to independent counts in the ACS weighting and have zero sampling error. So, the MOEs are effectively zeroes, and are treated as zeroes in MOE calculations. Other negative values on the API, such as -222222222, -666666666, -888888888, and -999999999, all represent estimates or MOEs that can't be calculated or can't be published, usually due to small sample sizes. All of these are rendered in this dataset as null (blank) values.
