TwitterThis data package has the purpose to offer data for demographic indicators, part of 5-years American Community Census, that could be needed in the analysis made along with health-related data or as stand-alone. The American Community Survey based on 5-years estimates is, according to U.S Census Bureau, the most reliable, because the samples used are the largest and the data collected cover all country areas, regardless of the population number.

TwitterEconomic places used to tabulate Economic Census data vary from places used to tabulate data from the decennial census, the American Community Survey and other demographic surveys. In addition to incorporated places and census designated places (CDPs), economic places include, minor civil divisions (MCDs) in the twelve strong MCD states, and balances of MCDs or counties. An incorporated place, CDP, MCD, or balance of MCD qualifies as an economic place if it contains 2,500 or more people according to the 2010 Decennial Census, or 2,500 or more jobs according to data from the 2006-2010 5-year ACS period estimates, or is a new or significantly revised place since the 2010 Census and has an estimated population of 2,500 or greater. The main goals of Economic Census 1- Providing a comprehensive image and detailed information of the structure and characteristics of the various economic activities and their geographical distributions that enable measuring the economic performance. 2- Providing a complete and detailed information about the value of inputs and outputs, separately for each economic activity, at the governorate level and for Egypt. 3- Measuring the contribution of each economic activity in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and assess its relative importance for each economic activity compared to other economic activities within national economy, at the governorate level and for Egypt. 4- Providing data about the Micro, Small and Medium establishments (number of establishments and employees, wages, …. etc.), for economic activities at the governorate level and for Egypt.
National
Establishment
The Census covered a national sample of Establishments.
Census/enumeration data [cen]
The Establishment Census, conducted as part of the 2006 Population, Housing, and Establishment Census, utilized the framework established by the aforementioned census. This framework specifically encompassed active and temporarily closed establishments, excluding government-run ones. Seven distinct frameworks were employed, covering a total of 164,000 establishments to ensure comprehensive coverage: 1. The frame was bifurcated into two sections: the first comprising active establishments and the second consisting of temporarily closed ones. 2. Monitoring of small-sized establishments occurred in two stages: initially, a sample of enumeration areas (1,800 in total) was selected, representing 10% of the total enumeration areas in the 2006 establishments census. Subsequently, a sample of establishments was chosen from each economic activity at the ISIC tabular category level within each enumeration area, totaling 96,000 establishments. Rare activities' establishments, specifically those with 500 or fewer establishments distributed across the governorates were included. 3. A comprehensive inventory of establishments employing 10 or more workers and not included in the current statistics, based on the 2006 Establishment Census data, with a total of 18,000 establishments
Face-to-face [f2f]
Such framework consists of two main parts as follows: Part one: Regular statistics, which includes all establishments in both Public and Public Business Sectors, and some private sector establishments, which are regularly conducted annually. Part two: Including private sector establishments covered in the EC using sampling method, for those which aren't covered by regular statistics.
Twelve questionnaires were designed for the 2012/2013 Economic Census to collect data from all economic activities in the private sector, which are not covered in the regular statistics. These activities include: - Mining and quarrying activities, establishments (9 employees and less), - Manufacturing Activities (9 employees and less), - Activities of Repair and maintenance of motor vehicles, personal and household goods, - Wholesale and Retail-sale Activities, - Restaurants, food & beverage, and bar services activities, - Transportation and Storage Activities, - Business, social and personal services Activities. - Education activities, institutes and colleges, - Other educational activities, - Agricultural activities, - Communication activities, - Construction activities.
Note: The questionnaire can be seen in the documentation tab.
The average response rate for the economic census 2012/2013 was 93%.

With the creation of the first drug court in Miami-Dade County, Florida in 1989, problem-solving courts emerged as an innovative effort to close the revolving door of recidivism. Designed to target the social and psychological problems underlying certain types of criminal behavior, the problem-solving model boasts a community-based, therapeutic approach. As a result of the anecdotal successes of early drug courts, states expanded the problem-solving court model by developing specialized courts or court dockets to address a number of social problems. Although the number and types of problem-solving courts has been expanding, the formal research and statistical information regarding the operations and models of these programs has not grown at the same rate. Multiple organizations have started mapping the variety of problem-solving courts in the county; however, a national catalogue of problem-solving court infrastructure is lacking. As evidence of this, different counts of problem-solving courts have been offered by different groups, and a likely part of the discrepancy lies in disagreements about how to define and identify a problem-solving court. What is known about problem-solving courts is therefore limited to evaluation or outcome analyses of specific court programs. In 2010, the Bureau of Justice Statistics awarded the National Center for State Courts a grant to develop accurate and reliable national statistics regarding problem-solving court operations, staffing, and participant characteristics. The NCSC, with assistance from the National Drug Court Institute (NDCI), produced the resulting Census of Problem-Solving Courts which captures information on over 3,000 problem-solving courts that were operational in 2012.

TwitterThe National Census of Manufacturing Establishments (NCME) is a regular periodic statistical operation to collect, manage and disseminate data on the manufacturing sector of Nepal. The NCME has been carried out by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) in every five years. CBS is the main responsible organization of the government for collection, management and dissemination of statistical information in the country. Particularly, the NCME is carried out by the establishment census and survey section of CBS. The census covers all manufacturing establishments located within the geographic boundary of Nepal engaging 10 or more persons.
Following the international practices, the establishments enumerated are classified according to the Nepal Standard Industrial Classification (NSIC). The reference period of the census was the fiscal year 2068/2069 B.S.(2011/2012). Particularly, it is mid July 2011 to mid July 2012. The actual enumeration work of the census was carried out during the period from January 2013 to July 2013.
National, Rural,Urban, District.
Manufacturing establishments engaging 10 or more persons

The questionnaire for the CME is a structured questionnaire based on the International recommendation and guidelines for industrial statisics prepared by UNIDO. It contains 17 sections as stated below:
A Control form was introduced to find out the profit or loss and value added of each establishment. This form was filled by the supervisor of the Statistical Office (SO) immediately after completing the interview of the establishment. If any inconsistencies were found during this phase, enumerators have to re-visit the establishment for verification.
Coding was done in ECSS of CBS. NSIC and CPC coding schemes were used. Altogether, 2 Statistical officer, 1 Computer Officer and 2 Statistical Assistants were involved in the coding and checking of the price of each fuel, raw material and product under the direct supervision of Director of the Establishment Census and Suvey Section.
During Data entry, many range checks were introduced to minimize range errors. Some cross checks were used to control errors relating to the universe and pre-question of the entry variable during data entry. One big batch edit file with many edit commands were run and verify the observed missing or overvalued or undervalued data mostly by contacting the respondent of the establishment by telephone.
After entering and editing data in CSPro data entry application, frequencies and percentage distribution of the principal indicators like total number of establishment, total number of persons engaged, total number of employees, value of input, value of output, value added by NSIC, ecological belts, development regions, districts were tabulated and compared with that of previous census. Further, average output, value added, number of persons engaged, number of employees and fixed asset per establishment a was calculated to discuss final report of the census in the technical committee. The final results were published after the approval the committee.
CME 2011-12 data appraisal may be categorized by 3 stages: Listing, data collection, data entry and processing. A technical committee headed by the Director General of CBS was formed to supervise, suggest, control and review the overall process of the census from questionnaire design to data dissemination.
A control form was used to verify establishment lebel input-output ratio as well as profit or loss status of the establishment at data collection stage. The data collection work was done only by the staff of CBS and its field offices. They were trained by the census officials of CBS worked in the head office. Statistical officers of branch offices were considered as supervisor of the census.
To establish consistency between the CPC of data recorded in section 7, 8 of the questionnaire and NSIC of section 3, grouping of raw materials and products was made by CPC to make one to one correspondence with NSIC.

Twitterdescription: Total population estimates are estimates of the total number of residents living in an area on July 1 of each year. The Census Bureau’s Population Division produces these July 1 estimates for years after the last published decennial census (2010). Estimates created after a decennial census, but before the next census, are called postcensal estimates. In addition, the Census Bureau revises postcensal estimates once the next decennial census is taken. These revised estimates between the decennial census years are called intercensal estimates. For the postcensal estimates, existing data series such as births, deaths, Federal tax returns, Medicare enrollment, and immigration, are used to update the decennial census base counts. The Census Bureau’s estimates are used in Federal funding allocations, in setting the levels of national surveys, and in monitoring recent demographic changes. There are two data tables in this file.
