The Western Pennsylvania Regional Data Center provides a shared technological and legal infrastructure to support research, analysis, decision making and community engagement. It is managed by the University of Pittsburgh Center for Urban and Social Research in partnership with Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh. The data center provides public access to spatial data for the Western Pennsylvania Region.

These geocoded locations are based on the Allegheny County extract of Educational Names & Addresses (EdNA) via Pennsylvania Department of Education website as of April 19, 2018. Several addresses were not able to be geocoded (ex. Overview

These geocoded locations for Allegheny County schools (public, private, charter, and career and technical centers) are based on the Allegheny County extract of Public and Private school names, addresses and enrollment data via Education Demographics and Geographic Estimates from the National Center for Education Statistics and Enrollment Reports as of October 1 submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The address data for public schools are based on data reported in the NCES Common Core of Data, which is an annual collection of enrollment, staffing and program participation for schools as reported to the Unites States Department of Education.
