    Description

The Small Business Administration maintains the Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) database. As a small business registers in the System for Award Management, there is an opportunity to fill out the small business profile. The information provided populates DSBS. DSBS is another tool contracting officers use to identify potential small business contractors for upcoming contracting opportunities. Small businesses can also use DSBS to identify other small businesses for teaming and joint venturing.

Fish were collected from submerged and semi-submerged traps within six pools and three channels within the lake approximately every two weeks before being measured, sexed as obvious males and then released. Traps were deployed for 24 hours before data were collected. Water temperature, dissolved oxygen and conductivity were also measured. Data were collected as part of a Defra Darwin Initiative Plus project to ascertain baseline data on native and non-native fish populations in the Sovereign Base Area of Akrotiri. Description

IntroductionThe “percentage of births attended by a skilled birth attendant" (SBA) is an indicator that has been adopted by several global monitoring frameworks, including the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) agenda for regular monitoring as part of target 3.1 for reducing maternal mortality by 2030. However, accurate and consistent measurement is challenged by contextual differences between and within countries on the definition of SBA, including the education, training, competencies, and functions they are qualified to perform. This scoping review identifies and maps the health personnel considered SBA in low-to-middle-income-countries (LMIC).Methods and analysisA search was conducted inclusive to the years 2000 to 2015 in PubMed/MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL Complete, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, POPLINE and the World Health Organization Global Index Medicus. Original primary source research conducted in LMIC that evaluated the skilled health personnel providing interventions during labour and childbirth were considered for inclusion. All studies reported disaggregated data of SBA cadres and were disaggregated by country.ResultsThe search of electronic databases identified a total of 23,743 articles. Overall, 70 articles were included in the narrative synthesis. A total of 102 unique cadres names were identified from 36 LMIC countries. Of the cadres included, 16% represented doctors, 16% were nurses, and 15% were midwives. We found substantial heterogeneity between and within countries on the reported definition of SBA and the education, training, skills and competencies that they were able to perform.ConclusionThe uncertainty and diversity of reported qualifications and competency of SBA within and between countries requires attention in order to better ascertain strategic priorities for future health system planning, including training and education. These results can inform recommendations around improved coverage measurement and monitoring of SBA moving forward, allowing for more accurate, consistent, and timely data able to guide decisions and action around planning and implementation of maternal and newborn health programmes.

    Description

The manuscript describes a method, which ensures a selective functionalization of the mesopore surface with a clickable linker and thus makes it possible to study confinement effects during catalyzed reactions. First, the silanol groups on the particle surface and in the pore entrances of the SBA-15 are passivated. By solvent extraction, the template is removed and afterwards the pore walls are functionalized with 3-azidopropyltriethoxysilane before the catalyst is clicked on the pore walls. In initial experiments of asymmetric Rh-catalyzed 1,2-addition, the performance of a catalyst clicked selectively on the mesopore walls is investigated. The data used for the manuscript are sorted by the respective characterization method. The data are named either according to the sample name, the entry or the figure in the paper. All data are raw data that can be processed with the corresponding software.

    Description

The manuscript describes the influence of the template removal method on the mechanical stability of SBA-15. First, the mechanical stability of calcined SBA-15 was investigated similar to known procedures from literature. The results of the literature were reproduced and confirmed. The main part of the manuscript deals with the mechanical stability of SBA-15, whose pores were opened in different ways - calcination, Soxhlet extraction with ethanol, and Soxhlet extraction with ethanol combined with a thermal treatment in nitrogen.
The data used for the manuscript are sorted by the respective characterization method. The data are named according to the sample name (for nomenclature see Notes). The data of the SAXS measurement are sorted by the measurement date. All data are raw data that can be processed with the corresponding software.

    Description

Sediment samples from Swordfish Cave (CA-SBA-503) on Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, were floated to recover macrofloral remains. Two botanic samples also were sent for identification. This site represents a cave in a small sandstone outcrop with rock art panels both inside and outside the cave. A swordfish painted in black on top of a red oval is noted to be typical of Chumash illustrations. Radiocarbon dates suggest that this cave experienced several use episodes, including Early Period and Mission Period occupations. Macrofloral analysis is used to provide information concerning plant resources utilized by the various occupants of the cave.

In this dataset HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) chromatograms of the products of the rhodium-catalyzed 1,2-addition and NMR spectra of all prepared catalysts and catalysis products (NMR) are included. The described 1,2-addition product is an N-tosyl amide which was formed from the reaction of triphenylboroxine with an N-tosyl imine. The catalysts are the chiral Rh norbornadiene phosphine complexes [RhCl(L1)(P(Ad)2(n-Bu))] and [RhCl(L1)(PPh3)]. Furthermore, the NMR data of phosphine complexation experiments is deposited. This data was collected to screen for suitable phosphines for the later quantification of accessible Rh diene complexes on SBA-15 via solid state NMR. Crystallographic data was published in Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) of the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC) as stated under related datasets. In this dataset additional data from the crystal structure of [RhCl(L1)(P(Ad)2(n-Bu))] is included (plotted structure, CIF file, PDB file, RES file and a DAT file with tables listing all the significant measuring parameters, bond angles, bond distances and atom coordinates).

The flotation sample and four of the charcoal samples were recovered from a concentration of shell with charcoal and darkened soil located in Unit 1. Three charcoal samples were collected from Unit 5. Macrofloral analysis is used to aid in determining if the shell concentrations represent a food processing feature, as well as to provide general information concerning possible plants processed at the site. Identification of charcoal will be used to determine if the site occupants were utilizing local driftwood or non-local wood as fuel.
