This map shows the Council Tax charges for each band for the period 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025.The total amount due is made up of charges for:Cheshire East CouncilCheshire Fire AuthorityCheshire Police Authority (shown as Police and Crime Commissioner)Adult Social Care – an extra charge that central government allows local authorities to make to help pay for adult social care.Town or Parish Council – If you live in an area where there is a parish or town council, there is also a further charge for the services they provide.
English Heritage maintains a Register of Historic Battlefields. This is not a statutory list, but any sites on it are a material consideration in the planning process. Currently there are only two battlefield sites in Cheshire included in the Register: the Battle of Nantwich 1644 and the Battle of Rowton Heath (Chester) 1645. The Register is periodically reviewed by English Heritage and additions made. This dataset is updated by the Cheshire Historic Environment Record as soon as possible after the notification of a new site is received.
These sites have been digitally mapped by the Cheshire Historic Environment Record from the notification maps (usually 1:10,000) supplied by English Heritage. The digitised boundaries are the County Historic Environment Record's interpretation of the data and should, therefore, be used with great care. The depiction of a boundary should be regarded as indicative only and does not constitute any legal definition.
Each feature contains within its entry in the attribute table hyperlinks for use with ArcGIS and WebGIS to the designation record of that asset published on Revealing Cheshire's Past, an online version of the HER database which makes a subset of the HER data available online.

This spatial dataset is an output of the Natural England County & City Natural Capital Atlas project (July 2020). It shows variation in ecosystem service flow for habitats across England, based on indicators identified by NE in the 2018 Natural Capital Indicators project. The dataset comprises a hexagonal grid which summarises indicator values across the country (each unit = 5km²).
Natural Capital is an important aspect of current environmental policy and management. This dataset, in combination with the other project outputs, will support understanding of Natural Capital in England and serve as a valuable engagement tool to communicate concepts of the Natural Capital approach to a wide variety of stakeholders.

The "Distributed Generation SP Manweb Heat Maps - SPM Primary Substations" dataset provides an indication of SPEN’s network capabilities and potential opportunities to connect Distributed Generation (DG) to the 11kV, 33kV and 132kV network in the SP Manweb (SPM) licence area (covering Cheshire, Merseyside, North Shropshire, North Wales). Each substation and circuit are assigned one of the following categories:Green: All operational factors are within tolerable limits and so opportunities may exist to connect additional DG without reinforcing the network (subject to detailed studies). Amber: At least one factor is nearing its operational limit and hence, depending on the nature of the application, network reinforcement may be required. However, this can only be confirmed by detailed network analysis. Red: At least one factor is close to its operational limit and so installation of most levels of DG and a local connection is highly unlikely. It may also require extensive reinforcement works or given the lack of a local connection, require an extensive amount of sole user assets to facilitate such a connection. For additional information on column definitions, please click on the Dataset schema link below.Disclaimer: Whilst all reasonable care has been taken in the preparation of the information and data presented within these pages, SP Energy Networks is not responsible for any loss that may be attributed to the use of the data.Download dataset metadata (JSON)If you wish to provide feedback at a dataset or row level, please click on the “Feedback” tab above.
Data Triage : SPEN Data Triage Risk Assessments provide information and a detailed overview of how we approach the Data Triage process. The risk assessment will determine the dataset classification and whether it can be made available, and under which licence. Click below to view the Data Triage document for this dataset. Monthly and annual average NO2 mean concentrations (µg/m3) from diffusion tubes across Cheshire East. NOTE - a figure of zero (0) indicates that there is no data for that month. All raw data is subject to Defra approved bias corrections and distance corrections where applicable. These two corrections are applied to the end of year annual average not the monthly data. As such the annual average will be different from the running average. Air Quality Management Area boundaries are also included on the map.
