Tcassel@chesco.org, 610-344-5441, 313 W. Market St Suite 5302 West Chester, PA 19380ResourceUpdate frequency of dataset: Weekly Last Update Date: August 2023Accuracy of attribute: Attributes are correct as per County of Chester Assessment DepartmentPositional accuracy of dataset:The PARCELS layer (and derived copies PARCEL_PUBLISH and PRCL_POLY) was originally created through a conversion process of digitizing hand drawn tax maps into digital form and orientating the tax map sheets and parcels to the features depicted in the 1993 orthophotos. These parcel polygon features were adjusted based on aerial photography dated April 7, 1993, and road centerlines, right-of-way lines and other physical features generated from the same photography. While the imagery has a pixel resolution of 1.5 square feet, a positional accuracy of +/- 5 feet and is designed for use at a scale of 1 inch = 200 feet, the resulting PARCELS horizontal accuracy varies from reasonably accurate in the best cases to less accurate in the worst cases. Subsequent and current map update processes include metes and bounds entry from subdivision and deed information, as well as property corner locations based on GPS points and the utilization of our newest imagery datasets. While the update processes include more accurate methods, the resultant overall accuracy is still dependent on the surrounding parcel fabric's varied accuracy. Planimetric coordinates are based on the Pennsylvania State Plane Coordinate System South Zone and North American Datum 1983 Spatial ReferenceType: ProjectedGeographic Coordinate Reference: GCS North America 1983Projected Coordinate System: NAD 1983 State Plane Pennsylvania SouthLinear Unit: US Survey Feet

Note: There is a difference between land use code and zoning. Land management occurs via a land use designation which determines the land use code. This designation specifies how land and resources within it is managed. Zoning designations define how a property can be developed and used and it is controlled by each township/borough. See below for list of codes.Field DescriptionUPI - Uniform Parcel Identification Number, a unique value given to each parcelPIN_MAP - A Tie-back parcel identification number used to link UPI values to the parcel on which they residePIN_COMMON - A variation of UPI which adds and E for Exempt, U for Utility or T for TrailerPIN_ASMNT - A long form of the UPI number used for assessment purposesCODE (see below for list of codes)MULTI_POLY - Number listing for each parcel of a Multi-Poly parcel. This map grades each county based on Unacast's Social Distancing Metric. Using the change in average distance traveled from pre-COVID-19 days and visitation to non-essential venues, we determined a daily county-level "Social Distancing" score. Now updated daily.Methodology: driven by data science for actionabilityReal World Graph® — Unacast's core asset that provides a range of perspectives and critical context for how people relate to physical locations. The COVID-19 toolkit empowers organizations in unprecedented times, to make quality decisions quickly. The toolkit, powered by Unacast's robust team of data scientists and PhDs, focuses on data accuracy to ensure that our partners and clients get high-quality insights that reflect real-world events.Using the change in average distance traveled from pre-COVID-19 days and visitation to non-essential venues, we determined a "Social Distancing" score for each county:Read more on the scoring here.Because our data comes in at varying latencies, we wait for three days after an event day for all the data for that given event date. Processing takes another day and therefore, the existing and default delay is four days from a given event date.Since we know time is of the essence in the fight against COVID19, our team is figuring out if we can reduce the lag, use less data, and still provide strong signals. At the same time, we want to further enhance our score to make it more robust and explain different facets of social distancing.A Note About PrivacyThe Social Distancing Scoreboard and other tools being developed for the Covid-19 Toolkit do not identify any individual person, device, or household. However, to calculate the actual underlying social indexing score we combine tens of millions of anonymous mobile phones and their interactions with each other each day - and then extrapolate the results to the population level. As a company that originated in Norway we put privacy front and center and believe it to be an individual right, and since we operate on both sides of the Atlantic, we have been operating within the GDPR guidelines since May 2018 and this year also adopted the CCPA guidelines for the whole of the US (not only California).Read more on the methodology here...Contact Unacast for more information on this and other data products: dataforgood@unacast.comView Terms of Use

    Description

An elevation or topographic contour is a line that connects a series of points of equal elevation and is used to illustrate topography, or relief, on a map. It shows the height of ground above Mean Sea Level (M.S.L.). Numerous contour lines that are close together indicate hilly or mountainous terrain; when far apart, they represent a gentler slope. This layer consists of contours at a five foot interval for Montgomery County. Data was derived from DVRPC and was generated from an aerial topographic survey in 2005.The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission's (DVRPC) 9-county region is made up of the following: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania; and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Mercer counties in New Jersey. The regional dataset can be be accessed via rest service or downloaded from PASDA

    Description

The PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and PA Game Commission (PGC) have teamed up to create an interactive map specifically for hunters. Collectively, State Forest Land and Gamelands comprise over 3.7 million acres of public forest open to hunting in Pennsylvania. Hunters can use this map to:View public forests open to hunting.Search hunting seasons and bag limits across different parts of the state.Display hunting hours (starting/ending times) across different parts of the state.Add personal GPS data to the map (waypoints and tracklogs).View different types of wildlife habitat across public forest lands, including mature oak forests, meadows, food plots, openings, winter thermal (coniferous) cover, and young aspen forest.See where recent timber harvests have occurred on public forest lands.Get deer management assistance program (DMAP) information for state forest lands.Add map layers associated with chronic wasting disease (CWD).Identify where bear check stations are located and get driving directions.Display the elk hunting zones and get information about them.Get the location of gated roads opened for hunters on public forest lands and when those gates will be opened.Analyze graphs and trends in antlerless/antlered deer harvests and antlerless license allocations from 2004 to the present.

This map shows where obesity and diabetes are happening in the US, by county. It shows each component of the map as its own layer, and also shows the patterns overlapping. Diabetes prevalence (% of adults)Obesity prevalence (% of adults)This data can be used to assess the health factors, and answer questions such as:Are certain counties more/less at risk in regards to diabetes and obesity? Are diabetes, obesity, and physical inactivity happening within the same areas of the US?According to the CDC: "These data can help the public to better use existing resources for diabetes management and prevention efforts." The data comes from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the data vintage is 2013. Description

Mosaic - An orthoimage is remotely sensed image data in which displacement of features in the image caused by terrain relief and sensor orientation have been mathematically removed. Orthoimagery combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. This project consists of the creation of 3-band, 24 bit color digital orthophoto tiles for the 5-county, Pennsylvania portion DVRPC?s region utilizing a Leica ADS40 digital imaging system. The tiles were delivered in both GeoTIFF and MrSID MG3 formats. A GeoTIFF is a TIFF file which has geographic (or cartographic) data embedded as tags within the TIFF file. The geographic data can then be used to position the image in the correct location and geometry within a geographic information system (GIS) display. MrSID (Multi-resolution Seamless Image Database) is a proprietary, wavelet-based, image compression file format (*.sid) developed and patented by LizardTech, Inc. A 20:1 compression ratio was used for the MrSIDs. The complete data set contains 1,540 full ortho tiles in Pennsylvania State Plane South coordinate system, NAD83. The individual tiles measure 5,055' x 8,745' at a 1.0' pixel size. There is no image overlap between adjacent tiles. Counties include: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia
