As of March 2024, the UK-based Comic Relief's Red Nose Day charity has raised over 40 million British pounds in 2024. Comic relief is centered around a telethon event, called 'Red Nose Day', which usually takes place in mid-March. The amount raised by this charity peaked in 2011 at 108.4 million British pounds, with the amount raised decreasing in the events since then.
