Context

The dataset tabulates the Tulsa population over the last 20 plus years. It lists the population for each year, along with the year on year change in population, as well as the change in percentage terms for each year. The dataset can be utilized to understand the population change of Tulsa across the last two decades. For example, using this dataset, we can identify if the population is declining or increasing. If there is a change, when the population peaked, or if it is still growing and has not reached its peak. The dataset presents median income data over a decade or more for males and females categorized by Total, Full-Time Year-Round (FT), and Part-Time (PT) employment in Tulsa. Key observations: Insights from 2022

Based on our analysis ACS 2022 1-Year Estimates, we present the following observations: - All workers, aged 15 years and older: In Tulsa, the median income for all workers aged 15 years and older, regardless of work hours, was $37,453 for males and $28,690 for females.

These income figures indicate a substantial gender-based pay disparity, showcasing a gap of approximately 23% between the median incomes of males and females in Tulsa. With women, regardless of work hours, earning 77 cents to each dollar earned by men, this income disparity reveals a concerning trend toward wage inequality that demands attention in thecity of Tulsa.

- Full-time workers, aged 15 years and older: In Tulsa, among full-time, year-round workers aged 15 years and older, males earned a median income of $51,625, while females earned $44,311, resulting in a 14% gender pay gap among full-time workers. This illustrates that women earn 86 cents for each dollar earned by men in full-time positions.
