County tax assessors tax lots, including rights of way, with associated property data, excluding ownership information. Selected items from each county assessor's file are included and standardized for all three counties. The tax lot spatial features and data associated with the tax lot are compiled by Metro from existing records created and maintained by the local county assessment and taxation offices. This is a downloadable zip file that includes the taxlots shapefile and layer files for visualizing taxlots with or without right of ways. The data was collected from local jurisdictions in the state and then assembled into a single dataset. The attributes were generalized to a set of comp plan codes that could be applied to data from all jurisdictions. The list of state comp plan codes and their descriptions can be found in this metadata. Please contact the local jurisdictions for the more detailed (not generalized) data. As of May 31, 2019 this feature class contains comprehensive plan data from 189 local jurisdictions. DLCD plans to continue adding to and updating this statewide comp plan dataset as they receive information from the local jurisdictions. New releases of this data by DLCD are planned for publication every 2 years. Note: This data layer has gaps in the data and is not complete for the entire state of Oregon. Data originally collected from Oregon State Fire Marshal for the 2020 September wildfires.

The polygons in the feature class are used to divide Washington County, and Northwest Clackamas County into the map sectors. The sectors are of as suitable size for a single inspection team of staff in a vehicle to drive to each facility within the sector and visually assess its functional status.

Urban reserves are lands currently outside the urban growth boundary that are suitable for accommodating urban development over the next 50 years. Rural reserves are lands outside the current urban growth boundary that are high value working farms and forests or have important natural features like rivers, wetlands, buttes and floodplains. These areas will be protected from urbanization for the next 50 years.

On 08/19/2011 the Oregon Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) acknowledged (approved) the revised urban and rural reserves map for Washington County.
