Map layers are provided via Esri Living Atlas of the World's PLACES: Local Data for Better Health hosted by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC DPH). Layers are filtered to show only tracts within Clark County, Washington and overall summary for the City of Vancouver.
Vector polygon map data of city limits from Las Vegas, Nevada containing 87 features.
City limits GIS (Geographic Information System) data provides valuable information about the boundaries of a city, which is crucial for various planning and decision-making processes. Urban planners and government officials use this data to understand the extent of their jurisdiction and to make informed decisions regarding zoning, land use, and infrastructure development within the city limits.
By overlaying city limits GIS data with other layers such as population density, land parcels, and environmental features, planners can analyze spatial patterns and identify areas for growth, conservation, or redevelopment. This data also aids in emergency management by defining the areas of responsibility for different emergency services, helping to streamline response efforts during crises..
This city limits data is available for viewing and sharing as a map in a Koordinates map viewer. This data is also available for export to DWG for CAD, PDF, KML, CSV, and GIS data formats, including Shapefile, MapInfo, and Geodatabase.
Clark County GIS maintains an extensive GIS data library and updates the library on a weekly basis. The most popular GIS data that we maintain are available to download in two separate zip files. Each zip file contains a variety of popular GIS data in Esri shapefile format.

1:24,000 scale Geologic Map of the Searchlight Quadrangle, Clark County, Nevada. Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology Open File Report 10-13. Detailed geologic mapping by James E. Faulds, Alan R. Ramelli, and Stephen B. Castor in 2010. Map includes description of 85 geologic units. The GIS work was in support of the U. S. Geological Survey COGEOMAP program. The Geodatabase specifies feature datasets and feature classes, together with feature attributes, subtypes and domains, suitable for the printed geologic map. In addition to basic geology (lithology, contacts and faults, etc.), the maps may include metamorphic overprints, cross-sections, and explanatory legend-graphics such as correlation charts, used to supplement columnar legends. Includes results of geochemical analyses and age determinations of igneous rocks.
1:24,000 scale Geologic Map of the Riverside Quadrangle, Clark County, Nevada, USGS GQ1770. Detailed geologic mapping by Van S. Williams, Robert G. Bohannon, and D.L. Hoover in 1997. Previous work includes the Geologic map of the Jacobs Well and southern part of the Elbow Canyon quadrangles (Bohannon, 1991). Geologic Map includes 2 cross sections and description of 56 units. The GIS work was in support of the U.S. The Floodplain Mapping/Redelineation study deliverables depict and quantify the flood risks for the study area. The primary risk classifications used are the 1-percent-annual-chance flood event, the 0.2-percent-annual- chance flood event, and areas of minimal flood risk. The Floodplain Mapping/Redelineation flood risk boundaries are derived from the engineering information Flood Insurance Studies (FISs), previously published Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), flood hazard analyses performed in support of the FISs and FIRMs, and new mapping data, where available. The FISs and FIRMs are published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
1:100,000 scale Geologic Map of the Las Vegas Area, Clark County, Nevada, and Inyo County, California, USGS SIM2814. Detailed geologic mapping by William R. Page, Scott C. Lundstrom, Anita G. Harris, Victoria E. Langenheim, Jeremiah B. Workman, Shannon A. Mahan, James B. Paces, Gary L. Dixon, Peter D. Rowley, B.C. Burchfiel, John W. Bell, and Eugene I. Smith. Prepared in cooperation with the Southern Nevada Water Authority.
The data release includes 35 new luminescence ages and 3 new radiocarbon ages. The new age data further brackets the ages of the Las Vegas basin Quaternary stratigraphy and provide new constraints on the timing of Quaternary fault activity.
Contains County Boundary and Township (Political).

1:24,000 scale Geologic Map of the Callville Bay Quadrangle, Nevada and Arizona. Detailed geologic mapping by R. Ernest Anderson of the U. S. Geological Survey. Map includes description of 21 stratigraphic units of Paleozoic and Mesozoic sedimentary rocks and 40 units of Cenozoic sedimentary, volcanic, and intrusive rocks. The GIS work was in support of the U. S. Geological Survey COGEOMAP program. This work began under a U.S. Geological Survey Gilbert Fellowship to the author and Ted Barnhard and was completed under a U.S. Geological Survey project to map the Lake Mead 1:100,000 sheet managed by Gary Dixon and Pete Rowley. Darwin Russell, U.S. Bureau Reclamation, provided a boat, and the U.S. Park Service provided housing and camp space for the early part of this work with Ted Barnhard. I am grateful to Ernie Duebendorfer for providing pre-publication maps of the adjacent Government Wash Quadrangle and for sharing his preliminary mapping in the west part of the Callville Bay Quadrangle. Discussions and field visits by Ernie Duebendorfer, Sue Beard, Keith Howard, Scott Lundstrom, and Atilla Aydin were very helpful. The map and text were improved by technical reviews by Bob Bohannon, Ernie Duebendorfer, and Jim Faulds. Base map: U.S. Geological Survey Callville Bay 7.5' Quadrangle, 1983.
