This publication analyses the characteristics of pupils by their:

• special educational needs provision

It’s based on data collected through the:

• school census
• general hospital school census
• school-level annual school census (SLASC) for independent schools

This statistical first release (SFR) provides analyses on the characteristics of pupils by their:

• level of SEN provision - education, health and care (EHC) plan or SEN support
• type of SEN

It is based on pupil-level data collected via the school census.

This is an ad hoc and experimental official statistical release to show the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic and first national lockdown on local authority waste and recycling. The figures it contains are produced from provisional data.

The quarterly figures presented in this publication will not be updated, or added to. The regular publication of a quarterly statistics release ceased in 2016. Whilst the data continues to be collected quarterly, the statistics are now published on an annual basis and are available here Local authority collected waste management - annual results.

These statistics are based on data submitted by local councils in England to https://www.wastedataflow.org/" class="govuk-link">WasteDataFlow on the waste they collect and manage.

This release provides information on the collection rates and the receipts of Council Tax and non-domestic rates by local authorities for the financial year 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021.

The data collection is an interim aggregate experimental data collection which will run until data of sufficient quality are available from the Mental Health Services dataset (MHSDS). The dataset has been approved to run up until the end of 2016/17. The MHSDS will collect data that allows the calculation of CYP ED waiting times from April 2017, however there are likely to be issues around the quality of the initial data.

Official statistics are produced impartially and free from political influence.

The ‘Longitudinal education outcomes study’ compares students’ level of education to their level of employment and earnings in later life.

This publication presents statistics on permanent exclusions and suspensions within the 2020 to 2021 academic year across state-funded schools.

The publication includes data on:

• reasons schools report for excluding and suspending pupils
• exclusions and suspensions by pupil characteristics
• independent exclusion review panels

The data has been collected in the school census. Data for earlier years is also included.

This table contains data reported by local authorities regarding their estimated collection fund balance relating to Council Tax for 2020 to 2021.

This release contains the latest statistics on school and pupil numbers and their characteristics, including:

• age
• gender
• free school meals (FSM) eligibility
• English as an additional language
• ethnicity
• information on school characteristics
• information on class sizes

ERIC collects information relating to the costs of providing and maintaining the NHS Estate including such things as building, maintaining and equipping hospitals, the provision of services such as cleaning, laundry, food and portering and the consumption and associated costs of utilities.

The data collection is an interim aggregate data collection which will run until data of sufficient quality are available from the Mental Health Services dataset (MHSDS). The dataset has been approved by the data control board to run until the MHSDS is considered to be of sufficient completeness and quality. The MHSDS will collect data that allows the calculation of CYP ED waiting times from April 2017, however there are likely to be issues around the quality of the initial data.

The national wheelchair data collection was introduced to establish a better understanding of the current situation of NHS wheelchair services in England and to support commissioners and providers to improve services. Wheelchairs provide a significant gateway to independence, well-being and quality of life for thousands of adults and children and the collection will enable benchmarking and the use of transparent data to drive improvements. The collection is a quarterly Integrated Care Board (ICB) level collection that captures aggregate information on the number of registered users of NHS funded wheelchair services, time from referral to equipment delivery or modification. Data is also collected on expenditure on wheelchair services.
