TwitterThe Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2025. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries.The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. TwitterThese are lands still within the District of Columbia that has never been subdivided into either Record or Tax Lots through the two offices that manage land records (OS & RPTA), this land is referred to as Parcels, expressed as fractions (Ex Parcel 117/36). In this example, the number “36” would be the 36th out conveyance from original Parcel 117. The tracking of parcels was started in 1905 when, by Act of Congress, all the District’s unsubdivided properties which were mostly rural farms at the time were given parcel numbers. Their boundaries were also depicted (in many cases approximated), in large books in DCRA's Office of the Surveyor. Until the late 1960s, building permits were routinely issued by the city for new construction on Parcels, but today all Parcels, like Tax Lots, must be converted into subdivision Lots of Record before permits will be issued for exterior work. Parcels are only found in the old “County of Washington,” north of Florida Ave and east of the Anacostia River. There are no Parcels found within the original city limits or Georgetown. Parcels are not in Squares. There are examples where parcel land may be physically located in the middle of a city Square, but Parcels are not considered part of a Square until they are duly subdivided by the D.C. Surveyor’s Office.

Attributes include zoning districts that have been generalized to state classes. As of June 30, 2023, this feature class contains zoning data from 229 local jurisdictions. DLCD plans to continue adding to and updating this statewide zoning dataset as they receive zoning information from the local jurisdictions. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) System (MTS). The MTS represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The All Roads shapefile includes all features within the MTS Super Class "Road/Path Features" distinguished where the MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code (MTFCC) for the feature in the MTS that begins with "S". This includes all primary, secondary, local neighborhood, and rural roads, city streets, vehicular trails (4wd), ramps, service drives, alleys, parking lot roads, private roads for service vehicles (logging, oil fields, ranches, etc.), bike paths or trails, bridle/horse paths, walkways/pedestrian trails, and stairways.

TwitterPriority agricultural lands from a Land Evaluation and Site Assessment (LESA) process adapted for Columbia County by the County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Board (AFPB)and mapped by Don Meltz Planning and GIS. The original LESA process was created by Natural Resources Conservation Service. Assessment criteria include soil type, commitment to farming, long-term viability, development pressure, and open space (including scenic, historic, and natural resource) value.As a component of the 2013 Agriculture and Farmland Protection Plan (AFPP), the AFPB developed a working LESA model that can be used by the County in conjunction with local decision-making boards to identify agricultural lands eligible for one or more conservation tools, strategies or resources. Many of the county's municipalities, through the comprehensive planning process, have already designating areas suitable for growth and for conservation, as well as for agriculture. The LESA system can help the County and municipalities work together to prioritize those lands and protect from conversion, especially where resources and benefits are limited.The LESA Map can serve several purposes. For example, farmland preservation projects seeking State funding (if and when funding becomes available) can use the map for justification purposes and potential additional “scoring” points if the project is identified on the map. Columbia County municipalities are encouraged to use the data in their land use planning activities such as Comprehensive Plan updates, zoning changes, and their own farmland protection plans.As the County proceeds to implement the Plan, the LESA model should be tested with respect to the programs or tools with which it will be used. The criteria and scoring system can then be modified if necessary. Score thresholds that define the final ranges and priority levels need to be determined in order to interpret the raw LESA score and apply it in decision-making about eligibility for programs or benefits.See the Columbia County AFPP, chapter 4 and appendix F for more information on this dataset, how it was developed and its usefulness for planing purposes.

TwitterThis interactive web map has data representing Skamania County zoning and comprehensive plan designations as administered by Skamania County Community Development Department, land use designations as administered by Columbia River Gorge Commission (for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area [CRGNSA]), and zoning designations as admistered for the cities of Stevenson and North Bonneville. Skamania County administers zoning only for areas that fall outside of the incorporated cities and outside of the CRGNSA. Lands within the National Scenic Area have their own Land Use Designations (LUDs) that are administered by the Columbia River Gorge Commission. These areas are included in this comprehensive dataset, however it is recommended that the primary data be obtained from the source since edits to this data are outside of the control of Skamania County. All zoning data is provided without warranty. Users must check with the appropriate jurisdiction to obtain primary data and verify accuracy and currentness.
