Abstract The objective of this article was to systematize scientific evidence on the work of community health workers during the pandemic period between 2020 and 2022 in countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. The methodology used was literature review and evidence synthesis in the PubMed and Web of Science databases referring to international scientific productions on the community health workers’ actions. A total of 23 studies were selected for analysis in the categories: characterization of studies; scope of routine actions; and changes in the work process during the pandemic. The scope of the program of these professionals was presented in different ways in the countries studied. Even with interruptions or adaptations, some routine actions were maintained. However, its attributions suffered considerable changes due to the need for social distancing, especially the use of technologies. Strong evidence of its relevance was identified in countries that had or did not have the community health workers program previously. Thus, in view of the comprehensive scope of action, the community health workers should not constitute a temporary solution and not integrated with the formal health organization, but as a fundamental part of a health system to achieve the improvement of the population quality of life.

About the Socio-Demographic Data Dashboards The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has created interactive dashboards that display maps, tables, and charts of local housing, economic, and demographic conditions for each FY23 HUD Jurisdiction. These dashboards can help local governments, Public Housing Agencies (PHAs), states, and community organizations assess housing needs, prepare HUD reports, and advance local housing, and community development goals. The dashboards use data from the 2017-2021 5-Year American Community Survey, the Department of Transportation ETC Explorer, the Environmental Protection Agency Facility Registry Service, internal HUD administrative data, and other sources. For this dashboard, a jurisdiction is defined as any PHA or unit of local government (city, township, county, municipality, etc.) receiving HUD funding through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), or the HOME Investment Partnerships Program. HUD specific jurisdiction boundaries will likely differ from official U.S. Census geographic boundaries, so users should prioritize using HUD-defined jurisdictions in reports.

ECM Community Support Services tables for a Quarterly Implementation Report. Including the County and Plan Details for both ECM and Community Support.
This Medi-Cal Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports Calendar Year Quarterly Implementation Report provides a comprehensive overview of ECM and Community Supports implementation in the programs' first year. It includes data at the state, county, and plan levels on total members served, utilization, and provider networks.
ECM is a statewide MCP benefit that provides person-centered, community-based care management to the highest need members. The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and its MCP partners began implementing ECM in phases by Populations of Focus (POFs), with the first three POFs launching statewide in CY 2022.
Community Supports are services that address members’ health-related social needs and help them avoid higher, costlier levels of care. Although it is optional for MCPs to offer these services, every Medi-Cal MCP offered Community Supports in 2022, and at least two Community Supports services were offered and available in every county by the end of the year.

TwitterThe American Community Survey (ACS) is a nationwide survey designed to provide communities a fresh look at how they are changing. The ACS replaced the decennial census long form in 2010 and thereafter by collecting long form type information throughout the decade rather than only once every 10 years. Questionnaires are mailed to a sample of addresses to obtain information about households -- that is, about each person and the housing unit itself. The American Community Survey produces demographic, social, housing and economic estimates in the form of 1-year, 3-year and 5-year estimates based on population thresholds. The strength of the ACS is in estimating population and housing characteristics. The 3-year data provide key estimates for each of the topic areas covered by the ACS for the nation, all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, every congressional district, every metropolitan area, and all counties and places with populations of 20,000 or more. Although the ACS produces population, demographic and housing unit estimates,it is the Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program that produces and disseminates the official estimates of the population for the nation, states, counties, cities and towns, and estimates of housing units for states and counties. For 2010 and other decennial census years, the Decennial Census provides the official counts of population and housing units.

The American Samoa Islands and its surrounding waters contain historical, cultural, and natural resources that must be protected, managed, controlled and preserved for the benefit of all people of the Territory and future generations. The protection of these traditionally valuable resources will enhance and increase fish abundance and size for future catch. When communities participate in the American Samoan Community Based Fisheries Management Program, they adopt a set of by-laws as part of the process. Until now, these have been very hard to enforce because they were not official rules or regulations of the American Samoan government and therefore communities had little authority to enforce rules that were broken by outsiders. To address this challenge, the AS Department of Marine and Wildlife Resources has been working with the Attorney General to develop a standard set of government rules regulations that communities can choose from when developing their fisheries management plans Call Number: [EL] Physical Description: 23 p.
