Contour lines at 1 meter intervals, derived from the LiDAR elevation data (2009) provided by the company Blom. The contour lines were generated at 1 meter intervals using the Contour Tool, from the ArcGIS Spatial Analyst extension. The original DEM used to generate these contour lines is avaible for dowload in this organization. This layer codes Mpumalanga Highveld wetlands. The delineations were based on tracking wetlands on Spot 5 imagery within the Mpumalanga Highveld boundary supported by google earth, 1:50 000 contour lines, 1:50 000 river lines, exigent data, NFEPA wetlands. This focusses on updating previously mapped wetlands in three major steps which are desktop digitizing, field groundtruthing and mapped data reviewing.
