This stayed constant from the previous number of 38,997,490.000 Person for 23 Dec 2023. WHO: COVID-2019: Number of Patients: Confirmed: To-Date: France data is updated daily, averaging 9,850,650.000 Person from Jan 2020 (Median) to 24 Dec 2023, with 1431 observations. The data reached an all-time high of 38,997,490.000 Person in 24 Dec 2023 and a record low of 0.000 Person in 25 Jan 2020. WHO: COVID-2019: Number of Patients: Confirmed: To-Date: France data remains active status in CEIC and is reported by World Health Organization. The data is categorized under High Frequency Database’s Disease Outbreaks – Table WHO.D002: World Health Organization: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-2019): by Country and Region (Discontinued). In 05 March 2020 report, the figures were reduced from prior situation reports due to separation of territories. Due to some inclusions and exclusions of cases that are not properly reflected in WHO report, which are the result of the retrospective adjustments of national authorities, some current day “To-date” figures will not tally to the sum of previous day “To-date” cases and current day new reported cases. Figures with excluded cases are relatively lower compared to the previous day.

    Description

The COVID-19 pandemic was making a huge impact on Europe’s healthcare systems in the spring of 2020, and most predictive models concurred that pandemic waves were in the offing. Most studies adopted a pathogenic approach to the subject; few used a salutogenic approach. These showed, however, that nurses can retain their health despite a pandemic by mobilising generalised resistance resources. Our study aims to understand how nurses working in hospitals protected their health and workplace well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic by investigating the moderating effects of the health resources they mobilised against the stressors inherent to the situation. Data was gathered longitudinally in the following countries: Switzerland (French-speaking and German-speaking parts), France, Portugal and Canada. In addition, a cross-sectionnal sample of nurses from Belgium was also investigated. The questionnaires included the PSS, WHOQOL, NSS, BRIEF-COPE, PTGI, CD-RISC, MSPSS, COPSOQ, SISI and demographic information. Description

Whole France data by sector of activity (according to the aggregated classification of 88 NAF posts) relating to the carryovers of contributions of the self-employed under the exceptional Urssaf measures linked to the COVID-19 crisis (due dates of 20 March and 5 and 20 of April, May, June, July and August 2020). In order to take into account the impact of the coronavirus outbreak on economic activity, the Urssaf network triggered exceptional measures to support companies with serious cash flow difficulties. For the self-employed, the deadlines between 20 March and 20 August have not been deducted. The related contribution amounts have been carried forward for smoothing over subsequent deadlines. Self-employed carry-overs are calculated on the basis of the projected income themselves based on 2018 income and then 2019 as soon as these are known. The deadlines set for the resumption of the recovery of contributions in September 2020 include a 50 % reduction in order to keep from the decline in activity linked to the COVID-19 crisis. This reduction is not taken into account here. The data are broken down by category of self-employed (artisan-traders or liberal professions), by month of maturity and by sector of activity. Source: ACOSS-Urssaf, situation as at 31/08/2020 Indicators: * Number of self-employed workers affected by carry-overs (*) * Amount of carryovers (*) WARNING: information on the number of IT concerned should be interpreted with caution. Indeed, because IT is counted by month due, the selection of a period covering more than one month leads to counting the same IT several times. Methodological clarifications: * the sector of activity “nca not elsewhere” includes the agricultural sector (AZ) for the general scheme (most of the AZ sector falls under the agricultural scheme, out of field here), extraterritorial activities (UZ) and unknown activities.
