Craigslist is a website for viewing and posting local advertisements. It works a lot like the Classifieds section of a newspaper, and it's completely free to use. You can find a listing for almost anything on Craigslist—jobs, apartments, garage sales, used cars, personal ads, and a whole lot more.

This dataset is scraped for Dallas city of cars and trucks. This can be used to predict price of new vehicles based of their attributes.

We study negotiation dialogues where two agents, a buyer and a seller, negotiate over the price of an time for sale. We collected a dataset of more than 6K negotiation dialogues over multiple categories of products scraped from Craigslist. Our goal is to develop an agent that negotiates with humans through such conversations. The challenge is to handle both the negotiation strategy and the rich language for bargaining.

In September 2025, male users were the most common visitors of the Craigslist website, craigslist.org. A total of **** percent of men visited the online classifieds website that month, as opposed to **** percent of women.

In January 2024, craigslist.com users preferred to use their mobile devices. In all North American countries, mobile devices had over ** percent of web traffic to the site.

Context

Craigslist is the world's largest collection of used vehicles for sale, yet it's very difficult to collect all of them in the same place. I built a scraper for a school project and expanded upon it later to create this dataset which includes every used vehicle entry within the United States on Craigslist.

Content

This data is scraped every few months, it contains most all relevant information that Craigslist provides on car sales including columns like price, condition, manufacturer, latitude/longitude, and 18 other categories. For ML projects, consider feature engineering on location columns such as long/lat. For previous listings, check older versions of the dataset.

Traffic analytics, rankings, and competitive metrics for craigslist.org as of September 2025

In September 2025, users aged 45 to 54 were the most common visitors of the Craigslist website, craigslist.org. A total of **** percent of online users in this age group visited the online classifieds website that month.

These datasets include information about housing listings on Craigslist for the state of Massachusetts processed from data scraped by BARI. This release includes listings for all five Massachusetts regions designated by Craigslist (Boston, Cape Cod, South Coast, Western Mass, and Worcester). CRAIGSLIST.Listings is a listing-level file that contains information about housing listings posted on Craigslist. Listing data has been aggregated across census tracts to generate CRAIGSLIST.CT, which includes ecometrics that describe neighborhoods in terms of listing frequency and property value.

Context

This data was scraped this from Craiglist in order to get a better understanding of the vehicle market in my local area. Each row represents a vehicle listing.
