    The data has been obfuscated and modified to guarantee respect for privacy and protection of personal information:

    Location: the geographic position of the event was located at one of the intersections of the street segment where the event took place. Temporality: the time of the event is represented by the date and the shift (or time of day: day, evening, night) during which the event was recorded.

    CATEGORY: Nature of the event. List of values:

    Introduction: breaking and entering a public establishment or a private residence, theft of firearms from a residence Theft in / on a motor vehicle: theft of the contents of a motor vehicle (car, truck, motorcycle, etc.) or of a vehicle part (wheel, bumper, etc.) Motor vehicle theft: car, truck, motorcycle, tractor snowmobile with or without trailer, construction or farm vehicle, all-terrain vehicle Mischief: Graffiti and damage to religious property, vehicle or general damage and all other types of mischief Robbery: Robbery accompanied by commercial violence, financial institution, person, purse, armored vehicle, vehicle, firearm, and all other types of robbery Death offense: First degree murder, second degree murder, manslaughter, infanticide, criminal negligence, and all other types of death offenses DATE: Date of reporting the event to the SPVM in YYYY-MM-DD format HH: mm: ss (note: the time part is not used)

    QUART: Time of day to report the event to the SPVM. List of values:

    day: Between 8:01 am and 4:00 pm evening: Between 4:01 p.m. and midnight night: Between 12:01 am and 8:00 am PDQ: Neighborhood station number covering the territory where the event took place. The territory covered by each position is available in the PDQ limits data set

    X and Y: Geospatial position according to the MTM8 projection (SRID 2950)

    The value 0 is used when no geographic position was provided when entering the information (less than 5% of cases). LAT and LONG: geographic position of the event after obfuscation at an intersection according to the WGS84 geodetic reference system.

    The value 1 is used when no geographic position was provided when entering the information (less than 5% of cases).
