    Description

    The shape file is an update to an earlier file. It shows the results of Democratic primaries and caucus for the two major candidates (Obama and Hillary) by congressional districts, the number of votes cast, the total number of pledged delegates, share of pledged delegates for each candidates, share of votes etc. Please note that Washington has only delegate counts, the vote and share of votes are missing. Also, Texas results are by Texas Senatorial district boundaries and not by Congressional districts. Also New Jersey data is missing. Much of the data is compiled from each states' Secretary of State's office which usually handles that states election process.
