The Cumberland County GIS Data Viewer provides the general public with parcel, zoning, hydrology, soils, utilities and topographic data. You can search for a specific address, street name, parcel number (PIN), or by the owner's name.
This parcels dataset is a spatial representation of tax lots for Cumberland County, New Jersey that have been extracted from the NJ statewide parcels composite by the NJ Office of Information Technology, Office of GIS (NJOGIS). Parcels at county boundaries have been modified to correspond with the NJ county boundaries and the parcels in adjacent counties. Each parcel contains a field named PAMS_PIN based on a concatenation of the county/municipality code, block number, lot number and qualification code. Using the PAMS_PIN, the dataset can be joined to the MOD-IV database table that contains supplementary attribute information regarding lot ownership and characteristics. Due to irregularities in the data development process, duplicate PAMS_PIN values exist in the parcel records. Users should avoid joining MOD-IV database table records to all parcel records with duplicate PAMS_PINs because of uncertainty regarding whether the MOD-IV records will join to the correct parcel records. There are also parcel records with unique PAMS_PIN values for which there are no corresponding records in the MOD-IV database tables. This is mostly due to the way data are organized in the MOD-IV database. The polygons delineated in the dataset do not represent legal boundaries and should not be used to provide a legal determination of land ownership. Parcels are not survey data and should not be used as such. The MOD-IV (Tax Assessor's) table for the county is packaged together with the parcels as one download. The MOD-IV system provides for uniform preparation, maintenance, presentation and storage of property tax information required by the Constitution of the State of New Jersey, New Jersey Statutes and rules promulgated by the Director of the Division of Taxation. MOD-IV maintains and updates all assessment records and produces all statutorily required tax lists for property tax bills. This list accounts for all parcels of real property as delineated and identified on each municipality's official tax map, as well as taxable values and descriptive data for each parcel. Tax List records were received as raw data from the Taxation Team of NJOIT which collected source information from municipal tax assessors and created the statewide table. This table was subsequently processed for ease of use with NJ tax parcel spatial data and split into an individual table for each county.***NOTE*** For users who incorporate NJOGIS services into web maps and/or web applications, please sign up for the NJ Geospatial Forum discussion listserv for early notification of service changes. This data set is a digital soil survey and generally is the most detailed level of soil geographic data developed by the National Cooperative Soil Survey. The information was prepared by digitizing maps, by compiling information onto a planimetric correct base and digitizing, or by revising digitized maps using remotely sensed and other information. This data set consists of georeferenced digital map data and computerized attribute data. The map data are in a soil survey area extent format and include a detailed, field verified inventory of soils and miscellaneous areas that normally occur in a repeatable pattern on the landscape and that can be cartographically shown at the scale mapped. A special soil features layer (point and line features) is optional. This layer displays the location of features too small to delineate at the mapping scale, but they are large enough and contrasting enough to significantly influence use and management. The soil map units are linked to attributes in the National Soil Information System relational database, which gives the proportionate extent of the component soils and their properties.

The Maine Geoparcel Viewer Application allows users to search and view available digital parcel data for Organized Townships and Unorganized Territories in the State of Maine. The Maine GeoLibrary and the Maine Office of GIS do not maintain parcel data for communities, cannot verify parcel ownership, and are not responsible for individual parcel data verification or updating emergency records concerning parcel addresses. If you have questions about a specific parcel, please contact the appropriate Town Office or County Registry of Deeds for the most up-to-date information.Within Maine, real property data is maintained by the government organization responsible for assessing and collecting property tax for a given location. Organized towns and townships maintain authoritative data for their communities and may voluntarily submit these data to the Maine GeoLibrary Parcel Project. The "Maine Parcels Organized Towns Feature" layer and "Maine Parcels Organized Towns ADB" table are the product of these voluntary submissions. Communities provide updates to the Maine GeoLibrary on a non-regular basis, which affects the currency of Maine GeoLibrary parcels data; some data are more than ten years old. Please contact the appropriate Town Office or the County Registry of Deeds for more up-to-date parcel information. Organized Town data should very closely match registry information, except in the case of in-process property conveyance transactions. In Unorganized Territories (defined as those regions of the state without a local government that assesses real property and collects property tax), Maine Revenue Services is the authoritative source for parcel data. The "Maine Parcels Unorganized Territory" layer is the authoritative GIS data layer for the Unorganized Territories. However, it must always be used with auxiliary data obtained from the online resources of Maine Revenue Services to compile up-to-date parcel ownership information.

These parish maps of the County of Cumberland are probably the earliest charting copies of parish maps put into office use in the Lands Department. There appear to be two distinct series (neither of which is complete), plus a number of maps which do not fall into discernible categories. The first series comprises maps which were probably compiled at the time of the Proclamation of the Parishes and Hundreds of the County of Cumberland in May 1835 (see Supplement to the NSW Government Gazette, 27 May 1835). None of these maps appear to have been annotated after their date of compilation. The second series comprises maps which appear to be based on those drawn and published by Brownrigg (surveyor) between 1846 and 1850. NRS 12466 contains a number of these maps in printed form. It should be noted that NRS 13028 (Registrar General: Charting copies of County of Cumberland Parish Maps) includes many maps similar to those in the abovementioned series. (SR Map Nos. 300-361 and 6219). 63 maps. Note: This description is extracted from Concise Guide to the State Archives of New South Wales, 3rd Edition 2000.

This feature layer describes property parcels reported to be associated with six utility-scale solar projects in Buckingham, Albemarle and Cumberland counties, VA.Purpose:This layer displays the boundaries of property parcels associated with these solar projects, and additional information, such as project name, developer, total acreage, rated power (megawatts - MW) and potentially affected waterways.Source & Date:Buckingham County parcels were extracted from a September 2020 parcel layer of Buckingham County obtained during previous work for Friends of Buckingham. Parcel data for individual projects in Buckingham County were obtained from the following Public Hearing notices concerning Special Use Permit applications submitted to the Buckingham County Board of Supervisors.Riverstone Solar – February 28, 2022Pineside Solar – June 27, 2022Blue Rock Solar – November 14. 2023Mountain Pine Arvonia – January 8, 2024Parcel data for Cumberland County was extracted from the Virginia Geographic Information Network's (VGIN) Parcels REST Service, as they are not available for download from the county. Parcel numbers and owners for the Hecate Energy project was taken from a table of landowners, included with the developer's Conditional Use Permit application. This information was used to find parcel acreage on the Cumberland County online GIS, which was manually entered into this layer's data table. This all took place on Feb. 27th, 2024.Parcel data for the Woodridge Solar project in Albemarle County was extracted from the Current Parcels data layer available on the county's GIS data website, downloaded Feb. 27, 2024.Processing:Parcels were identified by the Parcel_ID numbers provided in Special Use Permit applications submitted to the Buckingham County Board of Supervisors. Boundaries were checked against those displayed in Buckingham County's online parcel viewer. Parcel 38-74 did not appear in the 2020 layer. Querying the current version (1/25/2024) of Buckingham County's online parcel viewer does not return this parcel number. For now, we are assuming the parcel was recently split from another, larger parcel. Once Buckingham County has updated its parcel viewer, we will update this layer as necessary.Cumberland County's parcels, unavailablr for download, were extracted from the VGIN statewide parcels layer (above). Owner name and acreage were manually populated, based on Parcel ID (included in the Conditional Use Permit application), using the CUP and Cumberland's online GIS.Albemarle County parcels were extracted by Parcel ID.The three parcel layers were merged in ArcMap. Albemarle parcel data was copied to corresponding fields using the Field Calculator. Duplicate and unnecessary fields were deleted using Delete Field.Symbology:Parcels are shown as semi-transparent, purple polygons.
The Cumberland County GIS Data Viewer provides the general public with parcel, zoning, hydrology, soils, utilities and topographic data. You can search for a specific address, street name, parcel number (PIN), or by the owner's name.
