Data are also available for the standard error of the estimate, the standard error of the month-to-month change and the standard error of the year-over-year change.

This dataset contains non-seasonally adjusted California Labor Force Participation Rate by age groups, from the Current Population Survey (CPS). The age group ranges are as follows: 16-19; 20-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55-64; 65+. This data is based on a 12-month moving average.

At the present time, only data for persons are available in the FM database. Person data include employment status by marital status and presence and age of own children. For example, the FM database includes the labor force participation rate of mothers with children under age 6 (series FMUP1378865).

This data set shows the number of individuals in the Pennsylvania child care workforce within specific age ranges as reported in the Professional Development (PD) Registry. Individual ages are calculated based on the birthdate entered in the PD Registry. If the birthdate is blank, data will show as “unknown.” Data is included only for individuals working in family child care, group child care, and center child care. Data is current as of the last day of the quarter prior to the posted report. This report will be updated twice a year. To protect the confidentiality of participants in OCDEL’s programs, it is necessary to limit the amount of data that is available, even in aggregate form. Specifically, counts of 50 or less have been suppressed to protect the confidentiality of individuals (Number is not displayed when count of individuals is less than 51.). This growing participation in the labor market is partly underpinned by an expansion of the service sector. Additional workforceNext to women, the growing number of foreign workers, as well as higher participation of the elderly are also worth mentioning. A breakdown of the labor force by age groups showed that in 2024, close to *** million people were continuing to participate in the labor market beyond the set retirement age of 60 or 65 years.
